The "how would you edit this photo" game.

ya know something? I've been thinking it's friday all day today

:D

I think you should go ahead and post one (photo, not a tooth) ;)

Thank you Stephen - but you do realise you are 24 hours early, shall I post something or wait and see if there is anyone else entering ?

Ernmm it's an age thing. Sorry I shouldn't have put Friday because I'm due to be out. I meant to put Thursday and you all should've known that's what I meant :-/
Sorry, I'll sneak off and hide.........
Still, my decision stands. Any appeals should be made in writing within 24 hrs from the time of this notice and sent by 2nd class post to:
SteveB - Th' Albert Hotel, Disley.

sorry Christine had to say ;) great edit nicely done...

Toothless fairy!,!!! I will haveyou know that I only have one tooth missing, from a few months ago. In the last 13 months have had two crowns, four root canals and one extraction and now a filling has come out. I had hoped not to have to go again this year.

Will post some thing in morning when at computer

hey.. great win Christine! Hope the nashers are alright this morning.. hope you've liquidised your weetabix

I thought I had posted something earler but it has disappeared - Will pick a winner on Sunday morning unless anyone begs for an extra day :D

Unsure if you meant Sunday if thinking today was Thursday or Sunday thinking today was Friday. If you had meant Sunday thinking today was Thursday then I'd have had time to do something Monday morning, but I assumed you meant Sunday thinking today was Friday. So I had to do a quick one now as i won't have time later.

Star Trails from me.

Possibly

here ya go... had a hangover today and that's when my creative juices really flow. So i went with soup for the lake and changed the walls of the castle to toast and put some boiled eggs in the towers. Makes sense when you think about it :cuckoo:

Bodium Castle in East Sussex by leftcurl, on Flickr

oh b****r.. i forgot to put 'Lemon clad Brad' in there :bonk:

Sorry I missed this one. I've been a bit busy :'(

That's really good Leigh. Are you sure it was only drink inside you? Not some weird hallucinogenic chemical concoction?

This session, s winner is

Leftcurl

with his egg on toast castle, not sure why he chose custard instead of beans though

thanks Christine

i just like to let my imagination flow and let it take me on a journey to the far reaches of my tiny mind :cuckoo:

i started off with soup for the lake.. but then couldn't think of what could go with soup - apart from bread, then the eggs just seemed the natural choice after that. I was going to change the lake to tea and have steam rising off it - but i watched match of the day instead :D

i'll see what i've got in my archives for you to destroy shortly :naughty:

Yep - well done Leigh. A worthy winner.

What was the method behind the toast castle. Guess a slice of toast image on a layer above the castle and then blended somehow??

pretty much. i tried the displace tool first, but you couldn't really see any difference in the texture. So i just used about 4 or 5 pieces of toast covering different areas of the walls and used overlay blend and erased the bits of toast outside the areas of wall.

oh i forgot another bit i did.. when i duplicated the background layer, i accidentally dragged the copy layer down a bit which made the castle sink into the lake.. so i kept that and blended the sky in and got rid of trees to the right .. all these bits that you forget about when your messing about

just leaving work now, so i'll post a pic up when i get home

It started with the lighthouse looking a bit like a salt shaker... and went from there.

Is that your way of suggesting that Leigh should have called it by now and you're hungry for the next one?

I may have edited my own when I've been bored, but I've not had 2 go's at the same one yet.

(and there's no point trying to make something funny or smutty out of that last line.)

well it looks like we could have exhausted all avenues with this one.. and some great entries folks. Well done to you all

MrG would have taken first place if he'd have scaled Lemon Clad Brad correctly on top of the lighthouse, but after some calculations i worked out that he was about 14 feet tall :bonk:

So, I therefore declare the winner to be .....

:eek::eek: NEW2ME :eek::eek:

with his WW2 rendition.

Ah, cheers Leigh (at least you saw the WW2 theme ;) )

I found a sunbathing chimps photo the other day I wanted to use, but looks like i deleted it along with other oof animals

See what you can do with this fella (not limited to one submission :D)

Did one - which quite frankly I thought was a bit poor....
