The "how would you edit this photo" game.

nice, n2m do you use PS for editing? have you tried the blend modes when changing background - might give you smoother results

Nick do you have any links regarding blends? Id be interested in seeing that.
New2me, its Whitby Abbey. In better repair than my house lol.
I'll call it wednesday evening about 8 as it was a bit slow starting if thats agreeable to everyone.

Some great edits as always guys:thumbs:

Been too busy lately even for me:(. Have quickly fired off an edit though i think I mixed up my layers and masks so blocked out a bit much of the building and couldn't seem to fix easily in time available so have just gone with it. It's more a don't forget about me I'm still here attempt:p:lol:

it all depends on what you have, what order you have your layers in etc, but sometimes it can make life easier changing certain aspects. It can also give you some odd and brilliant results that you did not expect and make you change direction with your edit altogether :D

I often flick through the blend modes, but with no idea what's happening :D Cheers for the link, I may have to investigate further ;)

Started the renovation on this project a couple of hours ago and low and behold the church ran out of money. So . I did mo the lawn for free though with my fuel injected patch 3000 tool :)

Should have tried Wickes or B&Q, they keep a good range of roof tiles nowadays

No worries Nick- I think everyone is just really busy at the moment- seems to be so much going on in all walks of life. I gave my friends 5d Mk2 back the other week as I couldn't remember the last time I used it- let alone touch my own cameras!
Still, at least I got some fuel today- all the people putting 5litres or less in seem to have fornicated off:lol:

I'll fess up and say I'm using Richard's edit as a starting point :D

Hmmmm ... as usual, looked better in my head than on paper
