I'm here - i'm just totally swamped in work - which is why i missed the last one - i'll probably play this time

My positive feedback would be... it looks like you've just added grain and made a light sepia overlay, but you've called it Glasto 1970 and left a modern day bus in the pic :D

I actually like what you've done with that pic. I take it you've used the built in Photoshop HDR filters for that effect. Its nice!

I think the photo could still do with something in the foreground, but thats up to your imagination! :)
 
Strangely I didn't use the prebuilt HDR :lol: Combination of black and grey convert, and then use the brightness contrast to boost contrast right up. Finish off with a fiddle with highlights and shadow :)

Then add a vignette and voila, one dodgy pic :lol:

I did think about foreground stuff but need to get my skills up before then, I'm not quite sharks with lasers shooting meerkats in the sea standard yet... :p
 
Looks to me like you've already surpassed that stage mate, very nicely done!

I suppose i shall have a go tonight if i have time!

Sharks with frikken lazer beams attached to their heads here i come!

i'm working in Israel the now and swamped with work so not able to find the time to do every photo thats up for edit sorry guys i'm off for the next 3 days so i will post an edit on this one tomorrow if you want to extend it to tomorrow night.

Dear me, it was only meant as a bit of fun, nothing meant to offend. I'll remove it from my post. Avoiding an entire thread through one post though does seem a little silly :shake: the picture was in reference to the flying shark conversation.

hang about, vantage and hawkmoon entered - so you could take it as an honourable win and just stick a picture up

and everyone who's getting wound up just take a chill pill - this thread is suposed to be fun , it wont encourage more people to join in if all the regulars are squabling :nono:

We've got to expect dips and peaks in people joining in because people get busy, they have lives outside of TP, they lack inspiration for a certain shot etc (in my case i have a line fault which is limiting my connection to 48kb/sec which means i cant upload pictures at the moment - BT are 'alledgedly' fixing it today - if they dont they will get my size ten boot up their bum tommorow)

I agree. It’s hard enough sometimes to find an idea, let alone execute it in PS. I've made a couple of edits recently that where so poor I was to embarrassed to enter them. Also I think the Holiday Silly Season may have something to do with this as well.

Not really one to give a monkeys about language but as my son (9) really enjoys all the edits in this forum I prefer it all kept on a clean basis. And get everyone involved from all ages.

Bring on the next Pic!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont mean to cause offence, but as a newbie to photoshop i just view this thread to see what ideas you guys come up with. The only thing i can learn from it is timescale - some spend five minutes on it, some twenty minutes. If there was a very very simple 1 sentence description along with the pic, i'd find it alot more informative :thinking:

Spose the clues in the thread title ' how would you edit this photo game' - not lesson :(

from the time the picture is posted it is usually 2 days to do any edit you like it might take you 5 mins or it might take you the full 2 days as long as u post it by the finishing time it does not matter how long u take
 
I generally take up to 2hrs max, then i know ive spent FAR TOO MUCH time on something and stop, usually probably between 40-60mins is enough.

You are right though, but i only post my methods if someone asks...
