I started with a pegasus but couldn't make my robin's, jackdaw's or heron's wings fit either. I'll have to go wing hunting :)
 
angel wings choose images on google and look for dark/black photos - that usually turns some up

mine are off an immature condor (from google) - I didnt have too much time to spend on it as i'm -alledgedly- working this weekend

The pictures you find when using Google generally belong to someone - if you want a source of free images (there are restrictions but are generally okay for projects like we do here) you can use places like http://www.sxc.hu/ - just remember to credit the author or whatever else is in the particular image's conditions :)

PS be a bit careful which ones you choose as they also show images you have to pay for on the same pages

I will say there was another one that really appealed to me but I found the background so easily on the web I felt a lot of the work had already been done

mine had an editted background too - but yes i guess she's talking about yours - but dont take it to heart its only a bit of fun.

(FWIW I would have put yours above mine easily - but everyone has different tastes and its no big deal
 
Pete im not bothered who wins or who likes what, its all tastes your right. But to this is a competition (for fun) on the best "editing". Who gives a hoot where the background came from. To discredit sources on how "easy they were to find on google" is to count most of our edits out!
