The "how would you edit this photo" game.

Well this was a challenge and there was some brill efforts from Wayne, Andy (film one) Stuart, Adrian, and Andy's Tesco... But the one I like (and it's up to me :naughty:) I just have to go for Leigh ;) tidgy boats

Just spent 30 minutes going over this thread... Totally amazing work guys... Inspirational! Can't wait to have a crack at the next one with my tin pot skills.

it was a really simple edit too... i'm nowhere near up to the standard of some of you guys yet... so cheers Mr G :thumbs:

i'm just trying to get something uploaded for the POTY (which finishes at midnight), so i'll get something up as soon as i can tonight
 
that's weird.. i uploaded a new image for this last night (well, about 12.30am today) and it's disappeared!! No booze involved either :suspect:

So I've tried to give it an older feel without pushing it away too much, also removed the people from the main court yard to quit the distraction.

keep 'em coming guys... i can't find the bit where the rule was changed on how long each edit stays open for... so i'll stick my neck out and say TUESDAY night i'll decide a winner.

What programmes are people using to produce such brilliant edits. I have Photoscape and Gimp when are both Free. Are there any other free programmes which I could use? Thanks in advance...
 
*I got rid of Gimp as I didn't really like it but have had it. Is it better than Photoscape and is there a better one which is free than both of them?

1st try at an edit, this was done on Photoscape and I was just messing around with what I could do. Don't expect to win and If I do i don't have a pic to upload :(

Worth a go though isnt it. If you dont play with your software you wont know what you can produce.
 
Yeah its a bit of fun for 5/10 minutes. I may use Gimp on the next winner's photo. ;)
