My apologies.. well done Andy - good first win under your belt

As you can tell, I've not had much to do today! :)

Sorry james, I did say early evening....
If it's any consolation - yours would have made my decision a bit harder, but the result would still have been the same.
.

Well mr Bez, thanks for at least mentioning me :gag:

And as for Andrew's picture, I would be interested to know what was going through your mind when you took it...obviously your talent lies in composition and artistic observance ...keep it up big boy, i will endeavor to try and enhance it somehow. ;)

Bit bored so I thought I'd try..
I thought the idea was decent, execution is a bit mehh but it was a quick job so there you go.

It's *ahem*, a contempory vision inspired by post - neo - Van Damme - trot(ter)-ski art.

Well James, while walking along the river ribble enjoying very scenic beautiful sights you eventually come along to the place I took the shot. I dilibratly placed the cement works in the upper 3rd of the shot so that the scenery lead up to it and that it sat at the top of frame dominating. I also think it has its own architectural beauty and in a strange way the industrial and the agricultural parts to the shot both work. Any way enough waffle haha :p

All great entries, picking a winner has been really hard tbh, but i think IgorFB has clinched it by a whisker. I like the interpretation of the big evil polluting factory which only a couple of yrs ago did have a massive chimney bellowing smoke (I mean "STEAM") into the air.

Mikes entry I can image actually being a reality :P

Love the post van dam lol, and im kinda like OH with the Sheep :p

flippin nora that was a quick one. I'm glad we're getting people on board though to have a bash.. keep it going people

Well done Igor.. worthy winner

Thanks guys! Good job everyone.
How does this work, I'm assuming I now post one of my own photos?

You got it Igor

I do apologise for the delay, work and uni :|

It was actually quite hard choosing as I kept trying to think what I would do to the photo, in the end I just picked this one to see what you lot come up with.

A very subtle one to start with!

Hint: Is anyone a Where's Wally fan? :)

I'm sure you've changed something in yours, Andy, but I can't quite seem to spot what it is......

Hi All:wave:

Now this looks like a goody to get back into the swing of things. Nice to see there are new 'destructive' members in here along with the ol' duffers like Lefty and Mr G.

Igorfb: Can you give a time limit on this? Photoshop takes about a day to load up on my laptop.

Ha! just seen my avatar. It has been a while:)

Roger's back in town!

You still in that prison in Bangkok or back in the UK again now?

They let me out! :cuckoo: Back in ol' Blighty now, mate. Freezing me tits off. Really looking foward to the summer:lol:

nice one... £8 for 20 cigs.. welcome home

here's a quick one to get you in the winter spirit :D

Nice idea with the snow globe, I like it, although i'd have liked to see Rogers reflection as he looks into it :p

That's every kids dream isn't it Graham, jumping hot wheels across buildings :D wonder what it would look like with the "miniature effect" processing?

Welcome back to the thread Roger, looking forward to seeing your work if you can get the boiler going on ya steam powered laptop :p

There is a very slight fake tilt shift to it..... couldn't decide whether to go with a hot wheel's size car on a tiny building look, or a giant car on full size building idea.

Put the slight miniature effect in as giant cars jumping over buildings couldn't possibly happen.

As Wally has been found, I thought I would try again. Sorry Andy for the copied theme, but the photo does lend itself to some sort of destruction, even without Godzilla! :)

Good stuff everyone!

Shall we give it until say Sat evening?

Sunday would be better as i'm working all day saturday :gag: so will only have time saturday night (with beer) to do an edit. Of course if all can't wait until then I'll be sure to fit in the next one.

What a variety of edits this time :)

Just a quick one from before I go off to dentist to have yet another root canal filling done (fourth this year :( )

Christine you will need to put a stop on these gobstoppers:gag: next thing will be gnashers....

hope you are not in to much pain ;)

the pressure's on for Rog to come up with the goods now he's demanded we all wait until Sunday. He's already thrown in his mitigating circumstances though by saying his laptop is pants :suspect:
