
Nope, nothing. I'm reading on FB that people in other parts of Sunderland, even just those a mile or two away, have had a little: late last night/early hours but I've yet to see a single flake here at the coast.
Air temps are currently below 1.5C and local news is warning of heavy falls from 09:00 throughout the day into the evening/night.

So it looks like the Whipsnade nutters meet, maybe a white one after all, but this is how I reckon things are going to look like by Friday afternoon/Saturday morning:
Central Southern England, the Midlands, East Wales and parts of West Scotland could see a few hours of heavy snow.

I have seen how the hills to the north of Folkestone (which goes up to 400 feet above sea level in places) turn white, but remain free of snow at my sea level harbour location.
Temperature here this morning is -7 and the postman has just delivered our mail wearing his shorts.![]()
