The Great Adverts Thread

No idea why this is one of the old adverts that stick in my mind, but for some reason it seems like a whole story packed into a short advert.

I like this one too, great for a different reason. I don't think the ad is that good but the CGI is excellent considering it is now almost 30 years old(the ad first appeared in 1994)

I was trying to find a video but couldn't.

You can't have stew for breakfast
You can't have porridge for tea
But we have Heinz beans any time
My brother John & me

We haven't had them yet today
There must be something wrong I said
Until we found the reason why
We just got out of bed

(We knew, because we're in our pajamas)

Same here. In my case I was trying to find a very funny (and silly) advert for CB radio, at about the time that it first became legal in this country.

Middle-aged couple get into their car, the driver (man) starts fiddling with his CB radio and his wife nags him to stop messing around with the silly thing. It was dark.
Next scene, he's driven into a lake and they're completely stranded and in danger. He starts calling for help on his CB radio and his wife tells him to stop messing around and do something useful.

Then a long shot, or maybe an aerial shot, dozens of rescuing cars approaching from all directions:)

I only remember seeing it about twice, but it reminded me of a real-life emergency that I'd seen. A ship about 3 miles from shore was firing red rockets, and other ships and boats came from every angle to help.

This one, obviously.

and this of course

Which was actually shot on Gold Hill in Shaftesbury (Dorset), not "up North" as implied.

Used to love the Carlos Fandango wheels add, that was the Micky take out of your mates new "Wolfies" back in the day...
