I was just wondering if anyone else went to the Gadget Show Live 2015 this year and if so what did you think of it?
Personally for me I think it was middle ground at best. I have been to previous Gadget Shows all of which have been bigger with more exhibitors. This year the biggest stands were taken by Ebuyer and HP (Excluding the Mazda car driving).
From a photography perspective, Panasonic had around 3 stands and were showing off their Cameras, a few people selling action cams were dotted around as well as Go Pro who had a small stand showing their Hero products.
The super theatre didn’t really feature much in the way of new tech which was very disappointing, in previous years they have had ground breaking tech being demoed. The best bit of the super theatre was when Jason’s Delorean came out on stage. They seemed to fill time with ‘light shows’ where people were dancing in what can be described as LED suits.
Overall I was slightly disappointed. Tickets for my Dad and I were around £62 car parking there was £12 too! When you factor in the 2 and a bit hour drive, cost of fuel it’s easily a £100+ day out.
Did anyone else go? What were your thoughts?
