Blimey - he's been Tango'd !

Looking forward to the United v City match today although something has to go wrong at some point.

Hoping St Johnstone win their Scottish Cup semi final against Motherwell too.

3-0 now.

Not looking too good.

Here's hoping it's just a bad day to be blue.

saw a great tweet yesterday.....

'tomorrow is City's biggest game since colour television was invented.... it's not even United's biggest game this week. Perspective.'

just deciding now which boozer to go and watch the match in with my mates.. should be a good one.
I'm not in the reds camp that thinks we're going to walk it, but i have been boosted by our recent never say die attitude and the ability to close every avenue the opposition try and go down.

Giggs is just majestic... i think he's actually getting better with age

We're all set to go and watch the game here - even had to remove the Sky Blue from baby Ryan and dress him in something more appropriate.:naughty:

Absolutely fantastic game! Man City thoroughly deserved that win, and it also has to be said there can't be a shadow of a doubt over the Scholes red card. So pleased for city fans today :D

Can't decide whether I am happy or not. Don't like Man U, but then don't like City cos they have just spent spent spent to get to where they are.

However, as a Spurs fan, it s good that City have something to distract them from the League for a bit longer.

As a neutral, well done to city, they deserved the win with their second half performance.

What was up with Ferdinand kicking off after the game?

Nearly choked on my beer watching Ferdinand spit the dummy at the final whistle! VdS smashing the cameraman's camera in to his face was a nice gesture too.

It's a good job Utd aren't sore losers, isn't it? :lol::lol::lol:

Don't get me started on what 'City Deserve'

Didn't think much to the game and less to our performance.

Where's the big fat utterly hacked off smiley.

Is that because the best team won
Where was Giggs anyway? Scoring away from home again!'

Yep - Complacent. Looks the part when things are going well but lacking when we need to battle a bit.

Giggs - having been used for Champions League midweek. He was never going to play today with a vital Prem game against Newcastle just around the corner.

I have to say that although I'm not really a big fan of City, I'm glad they're going through. It will be good to see somebody else winning it other than the usual suspects (well, unless it was Arsenal of course!)

That Scholes tackle was terrible, you would have thought that, after playing all these years, he would have learned how to do it by now ;)

beautiful.

just beautiful. I hoped that utd would stay to the final to keep them stretched, but when the semi turned out to be city and the other semi was bolton or stoke, you would think that the winner of this semi would go on to win it, so was hoping that would be kicked out. Hopefully this will be the first slip up of many for utd, but i can't see them losing the prem now so im sure these wounds will be healed in a few months for the manure fans.

Hey Joe - glad we're knocked out of the cup - now we can concentrate on the league

Joking aside - Gutted that we lost today - not because of the FA Cup but because I know a City fan who will give me plenty of stick.

Hoping for a Bolton win today in the second semi final and once again hoping for Liverpool to get some points too.

Im hoping for Stoke since it's just down the road. But as for arsenal Liverpool. Well its tricky. Not sure how much three points will Change our season but arsenal losing will rule them out completely and hand the title to manure.

Put it this way losing 1-0 might not be the worst loss of our season considering we have very little to fight for.

bit puzzled as i assumed stoke bolton would be on itv or bbc considering it is fa cup semi

its not on sky so what channel is it on?

get in the potters! i always said there would be more goals in this match over yesterdays

So much for Bolton - I'm really not having a good weekend.

All I need now is a late goal fest from Arsenal and my misery will be complete lol

FA cup final........... I'm out taking pictures of the mother-in-law that day. Well, I am now!

Get wenger OUT!

I am sick to death of us being so close but so far away. Eboue has had few good games and is hopeless as he proved with a silly pen. Brings on bendtner again who is cack. Ok, we have a crap defence but have been tight at home of late but over the season as proved against WBA we do not have a defence capable of winning leagues.

Wenger is totally blind to what everyone else can see.

Well that was some ending to a game. Bonkers.

well i would have rather had 3 points or nout if i'm honest, all 1 point does is end arsenals season title hopes - doesn't do b****r all for us one way or the other

It goes further than that. For too long Wenger has persevered with players who are inadequate. We don't have the depth of ability across the squad, and I've now come to the opinion that Fabregas has to go in the summer. It's beginning to get like it was in Henry's last season, that if Fabregas doesn't do anything then the whole team performs poorly. Wiltshere and Nasri can run that midfield, and without Fabregas they won't be looking to him to make things happen, and let's be honest, he may be good, but he's no leader.

Pat Rice retires in the summer, let's bring in Viera as No:2, and he can instil a bit of bite back in the side. I honestly believe that we have been punching above our weight for a few seasons. If you look how sting the squads of Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea are you soon realise that we haven't got the talent or strength to match. Our squad is no stronger than that of Spurs, we just play better football.

Arsenal is starting to head down a bad road at the moment and I never thought i'd say this but my faith in Wenger is vanishing fast. Everyone seems to have kept their eye on united up at the top and not noticed Chelsea sneaking up behind and even City in 4th. I have serious doubts whether we'll hold on to 2nd this season, and wouldn't be surprised if with our remaining fixtures we don't even see City sneak ahead of us too.

The team needs ripping apart and rebuilding now. We've had so much talent leave and so little come back in. All over the pitch we need to see new signings and I just don't see Wenger being the man to do that. Hopefully the potential shakeup to ownership can filter down and result in positive changes lower down.

Back to league action tonight - 13 wins and no defeats against Newcastle in the last 16 league meetings so hopefully no slip ups.....

excellent, 2 points dropped for united, come on chelski

dare we hope that if chelski win all their games including beating man u and united lose to arsenal that chelski could win it on goal difference?

:D

Good point gained by United

Still in the mix but regardless of tonight I still think the next few games were going to decide it.

All sewn up. No way we will win all our games. At best we will win 3.

Still plenty of twists yet I'm sure.

United have won every home game of the season apart from one which we drew so with our dismal away form - that home form will have to keep going.

Obviously hoping Spurs can do us a favour tonight against Arsenal but can't count on that. Can only see a Chelsea win against Birmingham.

It's going to be tough for United now - unlike the chasing pack we'll be having to rest and rotate players against an in form Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea all around the Champions League semi final ties.

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets hope we can take em apart at the lane, give Fabregas a good send off before he heads for Barca, and encourage those Arsenal fans to want Wenger out.
