More simple inevitability rather than anything else I guess.

I wouldn't really use the word 'domination' to describe United over the course of the premier league and we've certainly had dips at times of team transition. Blackburn were a bit of a flash in the pan but there's no doubt that both Arsenal and Chelsea have had periods when they were superior to United.

Well I guess dominate in that since 1992 Man u have one more premier league titles than any other, you don't have to win every one to be a dominating club. Winning the majority does that.

Liverpool were considered to be the dominators during the late 70's and through the 80's but they certainly didn't win every year. But they won the majority
 
Yeah I suppose.

Next year could be interesting though. City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all kind of at a stage where things are changing or about to change.
 
And I've already got my money on Arsenal to win nothing again next season.

I am hoping that Man City overtake us and finish 3rd and we have to play in the CL qualifying rounds and get beat, because I really think we need a bloody good kick up the (put your own words in, mine would get me suspended :lol:) to bring us to our senses.
 
Just been reading that police have been called to the West Ham end of season party, players and fans having a punch up. Not even the end of the season and not much to celebrate, apparently a fan asked for an autograph and the player refused saying he was too tired

They really are the gift that just keeps giving, even McClaren has knocked them back, must be bad

I's interesting that the seasons in which Arsenal did win the Premiership were also the same seasons in which we did the double over Utd. Demonstrating that you have to be better than them to win it. I can only ever remember them coming 3rd once, other than that, they've been 1st or 2nd since its incarnation I think.

Ferguson is what holds that team together, when another manager does come in he will have his own way of doing things and some of those players will not fit his style. I'd also wonder how Rooney would get on without AF, as I'm sure it's him that keeps Rooney's feet on tte ground as much as they are. I think that Rooney is a contender for being the next Gazza without decent management.

Matchday tickets have increased by £1 for the Kop and £2 for all other stands - making the most expensive ticket £48 and the cheapest £39 -

Cheapest ticket £39 plus all the travel and consumables on the way! Neither wonder so many folk have Sky and a few tins at home. :thumbsdown:

Great result for the Royals last night. Hopefully they'll win at Wembley and I'll have somebody else to follow when I feel like slitting my wrists as Arsenal fail to deliver, again.

Didn't watch the game but I'm gutted Bournemouth lost on pen's.

Can Cristiano Ronaldo be the first man ever to reach 40 league goals in a La Liga season ?

After 9 league goals in the last 3 games took his tally to 38 he stands just 2 goals from being the first player ever to do so.

With 7 more in the Copa del Rey and another 6 in the Champions League - his overally tally stands at 51.

Can City really sign him ????

And that is why the man has such a treasured place in the heart of QPR fans. I so hope that he can bring Blackpool to Loftus Rd in the premier league next season, the reception he'll get will be fantastic.

I'd like Blackpool to stay up, they've certainly given it a go this year, so long as the Wolves are alongside them as well - otherwise if it's a choice, stuff 'em! :)

If Blackpool lose 2-1 then they still stay up as they have scored 54 goals to Wolves 44.
