European football took it's toll early int he year, playing thursday and then at the weekend, we had a few games lost where we looked jaded.

Things are looking very good for Utd's chances against Everton in the Cup. Everton were terrible against Liverpool, and seemingly have no central defenders fit or available. I'm not sure Utd fans may want to get, or even win the FA Cup if it means they may keep van Gaal. ;)

I can't see Martinez being Everton manager for much longer, but at least he didn't try to put a positive spin on their performance, which I think their fans will at least appreciate.

i hardly saw the second half last night, my eye sight isnt what it was and we were permanently camped in the annie road end, for long periods of the game the only player in our half was mingolet

bobby martinez...football genious

Just ahead of tonights action...

... Wenger OUT!!!!

Well 2-0 and 3 points.....

Wenger's downfall won't be finishing 3rd or 4th this year, it will be finishing behind Spuds, that is the one thing the fans won't tolerate and could push it over the edge. With all the other big clubs seeming to screw up their own title challenge, it was there for the taking. Top of the league at the turn of the year, and I don't think 4th will be good enough for a ECL place, because I think Liverpool will win the Europa Cup....

I think if Man City win the Champions League, then 4th place is safe as City will be in the top 4?

If City win the ECL and finish outside the top 4, and Liverpool win the Europa cup, only the top 2 will go through. However, I think City will finish 3rd, Arsenal have no hope of getting any better than 4th now, and I actually think it will act as a catalyst for change if they don't make the ECL (well we can hope...)

There are a maximum of 5 ECL places per country so, If Man City & Liverpool win their respective European tournaments, there will still be 3 places available so the top 3 EPL places will qualify for the ECL.

Those are big 'ifs' which I don't think will happen.

I noticed over the weekend that some in the media were moving over to backing Spurs, and trying to put pressure on Leicester, so well done to Leicester for a great result. Pressure on Spurs tonight now. ;)

So Leicester only need 3 more points to clinch the title. Manchester United look far from certain of delaying the celebrations this weekend.

So close now, you still never know, could easily lose the 2 away matches and draw, but hard to bet against them now. Be very happy if Leicester do it.

I know it's not over but looking at the table again and I just can't believe it. Leicester. Champions. Really? How?

Just survived relegation then sack manager and bring in someone who failed in Greece. Add in cast offs and players who cost diddly squat and they run away with it.

I still can't get my head round it.

Looks like Spurs blinked. Alli lashed out again, and they keep on saying he will learn from these things. If he keeps on doing stuff like that, what is he learning? He should go on to be a World Class player, but someone needs to get a grip on him before he get too bad a reputation.

7 points clear with 3 games to go. I hope Leicester get it sorted at Utd just to get it done as soon as possible. This season though, anything could happen.

Arsenal city. Chelsea and United should be embarrassed

It's ok, we'll use Arsen Wengers quote provided he doesn't claim copyright ' top 4 is good enough and there's always next year'

Whilst I still want Leicester to win the League, it's pretty hard not to like this Spurs side.

Congratulations to Burnley FC on the promotion to the Premier league.

Boro & Brighton game will be a tense affair.

Except, perhaps, the kicking off the ball and the eye gouging.

Despite that still hard not to like, I grant you the eye gauging though, even if it is on Costa, that is unacceptable. Great team to watch.

Well, who saw that coming!

Indeed!

Leicester champions. A truly remarkable, unbelievable achievement. Well done to Ranieri and Leicester - truly stunning and providing hope to supporters of all teams that the impossible can happen.

Really pleased for Leicester and Ranieri. I can't see this happening again for a very long time.

You're probably correct, but it sure will give others some hope & shows it's not impossible.

I bet even Burnley won't get odds of 5000/1 next season. The bookies have learned a lesson. :D

Well Done Leicester, one, if not the, most historic League win in this country. I couldn't let myself believe they could do it until they actually did, because things like that don't happen.

They give hope to everybody. :)

Tottenham gave it a good go, but lost their heads at the end. Some nasty stuff in their game.

Spurs were thugs... Diet should have been sent off Lamela, Walker and Dembele should have gone too. Total disgrace.

Well done Leicester, i still can't believe it!

Just watched the highlights, and I have to agree. 9 yellow cards, and they could have had a few reds too. Eye gouging, standing on hands, kicking out, not to mention multiple fouls. I think if Costa had gouged someone's eye, it would be headline news. If the Vardy and Alli suspensions are anything to go by, there could be a few Spurs players missing the last two games. :( And everyone thought it would be Leicester who buckled under the pressure. :naughty:

I can't agree more. As a spurs fans I'm disgusted by some of the teams actions last night. There was no need for any of that.

I hope this isn't a flash in the pan and a couple more 'smaller' teams at least press the 'top' teams in the next few years. Well done Leicester, inspirational.
