City have got it tough but I guess thats going to be the case till they can get out of the lower pot.

While I was reading this earlier I was listening to Colin Murray's show on Talksport as they were talking about the 'Champions' League. One of the things they said was how were Cit€h in pot two when they are actually Championsand Arsenal in pot one. They/we obviously know the reason but it doesn't make it right. It shouldn't be called the Champions League, we know that, when actual Champions need to pre-qualify.
Rich League? Status Quo League? Money League? All more apt than names than the 'Champions' League.
It's a step in the right direction with regards to the actual League winners being seeded higher, but they are still talking about the top ranked leagues. Celtic would have had, I think, 3 qualifying games to get into the actual League portion of the Champions league this year.
And there is also the issue of teams who miss out on getting to the knockout stages going into the Europa League.
I know Liverpool have benefited from these rules, but that doesn't mean I think it is right.![]()
I say - chuck them all in a bucket and give it a shuggle![]()

I just don't need the drama anymore. My friend (an Arsenal fan) felt much the same way. Started watching Hampton and Richmond. Got back into it. Much much cheaper to attend, good day out, just enjoyable (he says). Not sure on the comparative standard of football but for many people who go to games that's not all it's about.
Good thing you were not born a QPR fan![]()
So Remy off to Chelsea. Still amazed no-one else went for him, must be something in that closet. most surprised Arsenal did not go for him with Giroud out - proven quality goalscorer, french, £8.5m. Just don't get it.
Chelsea putting the bid in 3 hours before KO![]()
Thats because Wenger is an idiot!
I let go of the drama years ago. I don't get too excited when Liverpool win or lose. I enjoy the good times, and ignore the bad times. Letting go has meant that I don't get wound up about opposition teams too.I just don't need the drama anymore.![]()

The high's may not be as high, but it all has little effect on my mood when Liverpool lose.![]()

But then no super Mario!! And the premier league is more interesting with him in it!!ive got it on good authority that the remy deal fell through because of his attitude when meeting with the Liverpool staff, giving it the big "i am", the yanks just told him to jog on, pity really as i felt it would of been a good signing

I wasn't that optimistic after Liverpool's game against Cit€h, and the way Spurs have started the season. Didn`t take too long for that to appear Simon.................Wenger out!
World Cup winner or sanogo! I rest my case.
Damn - Cleverley deal falls though. Thought we'd got shot of him.
Hmmm, £16m for Balotellli, or £16m for Wellbeck - why can't we sign a goalscorer!!!
Wellbeck scores more than Sanogo!
Really good at holding play up as the rest catch up, good out wide and reliable. Might not score as many as some but but he's been pushed here there and everywhere. I know he's not the most fashionable player but I'm quite sad to see him go.
That's not saying much though is it.Wellbeck scores more than Sanogo!
I think it will take more than Danny Blind for that defence. It's going to be fun to watch. That's not saying much though is it.![]()
Falcao to Utd is an odd one. I know they may be getting two strikers leaving in Hernandez and Welbeck, but they are having problems getting Di Maria, Mata, Rooney and van Persie in the same team. Where does Falcao fit in? And who makes way? And wasn't it defenders they needed?I think it will take more than Danny Blind for that defence. It's going to be fun to watch.
Falcao supposedly on £350k a week.
And QPR baulk at Borini wanting £90k a week.
Hull have gone a bit mental with transfers.![]()
