Seems to be working ... they cant throw this game away, surely :cautious:

Thought Blind was very good today.

Back into the top 3 for today at least. Hoping Swansea can get something from Southampton tomorrow.

Not sure if it's on TV down South but it's the first Old Firm (Celtic v Rangers) match for 4 years today up here.

I don't particularly like either team but from a neutral point of view it should be a lively occasion.

BBC1 Scotland on Virgin, but no idea about other providers. Having Aberdeen parentage, I did have an interest in the game, but not so much now.

The Hampden pitch looks like a farmers field

Fairly predictable result in the Celtic v Rangers game.

So 'arry has gone.

Like the business palace did too.

Spurs have tied Kane down to a five year deal - I like him as a player. Spurs fans like him. I think he has the potential to be the next shearer......

Danny Ings was an interesting one. I wonder whether Liverpool knowingly suggested the (illegal) loan back to burnley to stop him signing a pre contract abroad?

Relatively dull window.....let's get back to the real business!!

So 'arry has gone.

One the happiest football moments of recent times for any QPR fan.

Finally Fernandes said no to another overpaid, ageing, not interested mercenary joining QPR anything other than for a nice final payday, says we have a good enough squad and we can't just keep spending money, should stay up with coaching and motivation (penny finally dropped Tony?) and Harry gets the hump and goes. Says everything that we had 1/2 season to scout a striker and we end up going for Adebayor -an absolute joke. Good riddance to one of the worst managers in the history of our club. Nothing ever his fault, always needing more players, tactically bereft of any ideas and an absolute joke for the majority of his time in charge.

I genuinely can't stand the man, I'm not alone, though I doubt he will care about that as he retires to his Sandbanks mansion with his £3 million a year salary for the terrific job he did. He'll no doubt now get some media role or ghost writer newspaper column. Maybe him and Garth Crooks could provide and dream team pundit team with Andy Townsend.

Tony please have good think about the next manager!

And Simon complains about Wenger!

And Simon complains about Wenger!

Indeed. Simon if you read this you don't know how good you have it!

The worst thing with Redknapp is how the press love him so he is literally never criticised.

I will do another post when Fernandes leaves on the worst chairman in recent times - the two of them combined have been a disaster beyond all comprehension.

Edit - a little snippet of some of the utter nonsense spouted by this charlatan...

Thing is, it was not the att you need help with, with Austin banging them in!

True, but you could argue we were short in that department if Austin got injured. Should still be good enough to stay up let's see.

What we really lacked more than anything is any form of tactical nous, and that led to a clear lack of motivation from some players who literally did not know what they were meant to be doing.

I still can't believe TF and HR have come up with the knee op as the reason for leaving - do they honestly think anyone on the planet will believe that?

Funny how quick the milk turns sour. I have meet Harry many times over the years, had meal together and a few beers. Wasn't long ago Harry was the best thing since slice bread.Personally I could never uunderstands why, every club he managed turned to sh! T .

The bloke is a wide boy, a wheeler dealer that talked the talk, ducked and dived. Good luck to him though, did what he had to do, paid for his house in Sandbanks, a lifestyle we can only dream of even though his been unsuccessful everything his done.

Enjoy your retirement Harry and see you in Westbourne.

Spurs looked pretty good when he was there in fairness?

He win the fa cup (but got relegated)

He must have known something? Obviously made the most of what he had?

Not really, somehow managed to blow a nailed on Champions League spot, remember that season they were clear 2nd in the league and in with a chance of winning it.

Of course it wasn't Harry fault, it was all this England managers job talk and his dog the tax dodger to blame

Most Spurs fans I know don't hold him in very high regard. Saints fans hate him. Portsmouth virtually bankrupted.

We signed Jordan Mutch at the start of the season and have just sold him as he was no longer in Harry's plans - are you joking? He was injured and never had a full run in the team. More unbelievable mismanagement. Not mentioning Zarate who we signed on loan who we have not played since.

And don't get me started on arguably our most talented player, Tarrabt, he is undoubtedly an absolute imbecile but he can do things no-one else can. And we can't do much at the moment.

Bring back the mad-man Diakate, stick Tarrabt in there behind Austin, at least we will be entertained!

I'm sort of half watching it on my iPad at the moment.

I knew Heskey was I didn't realise Eidur Gudjohnsen was still playing these days.

You're probably right given yesterday's performance but it's still good to see some of the top Premier League clubs fall.

Watching the 2nd leg now

Penalty from Gudjohnsen but Bolton down to 10 men. Can't see them holding out with 20 mins left to play.

That said Gudjohnsen should have made it 2:0 with that header.

Cracking goal from Coutinho to win it.

Feel a bit sorry for Bolton but they've been zombies for the last wee while.

I had to turn it off when liverpool equalised, but thought it might go to extra time.

I nearly turned off around the 85th min too. Not because Liverpool scored but because their fans turned up. I just knocked the sound off ;)

That's what did it for me too really :D

Looked a fairly debatable penalty to be fair, but should def have gone 2-0 up, silly sending off as well. Liverpool just had that bit of extra quality at the end as they say.

Second goal form Cort, Cut, Court...the liverpool player ,was excellent.

the new suarez apparently

Does he bite ?:D
I think what Rodgers actually said was that Coutinho may become a World Class player 'like' Suarez.
Ha, it was the first thing I heard yesterday morning on switching the radio on ..... then rodgers came on a little later to say he was misquoted .... so I suppose you could say that brendan bit this time ;)

Only listened to the game, but from what I heard, it was fairly even (Spurs having more possession, but they were at home). I do sometimes wonder why Wenger leaves it so late to make his substitutions....
