well done palace. how sorry do I not feel for Suarez- yes I know he's won all the awards but the premiership would be a better place with out his histrionics

Could be worse, we could be having Utd's season. And we don't have the money to fix that. ;)

It's not over till the fat Lady sings, but she's clearing her throat. :(

Haha true, at least Giggs has carried on where Moyes left off breaking records!

We also beat a Utd record tonight of away goals scored!

Jamie Carragher giving a lot of stick to the Liverpool defence, and maybe rightly so, but he's not saying much about his mate Gerrard. Talking about no leadership in defence, but Gerrard is the leader, and virtually part of the defence now.

It has been a fantastic season, but you cannot help at being annoyed how naive we have been these last two games. Firstly we could of sat on the edge of our box against Chelsea got the 0-0 and the point and then to not just shut up shop at 3-0 up and we would of still be in with a chance. Certainly need to learn from this next season.

Have to be fair to the players, they don't have the experience of holding out, which has shown itself tonight. May be hard to take now, but I believe, this will benefit us in the future.

That has to be the title challenge over. Hopefully this will drive us on next year.

Who knows what will happen next season if you can shore up the defence, but you'd think it's going to be harder next year for you. Mourinho will get signings he wants and out of first year back, same with Pelligrini, Man Utd wil be better, Arsenal may be able to spend more again, plus you'll be in the Champions League which may be a good or a bad thing. Oh well you'd certainly of taking where you now at the start of the season.

Play-off 2nd leg for me next Monday, been to one before QPR v Oldham in what is now League 1, possibly the best atmosphere I've ever witnessed at a match. And if we do get through to the final, which is by no means guarenteed, at least we won't be playing Cardiff in Cardiff like last time!

Even after 'Crystanbul' tonight, let's not forget Liverpool are still top of the league.

The madness will continue if Villa beat City.

3-0 up and draw 3-3, what a bloody shambles.

Nope, I chose to look at the positives. BR will sort the defence out next season.

If Liverpool do fall short this year then it's strangely similar to United in 1991-92.

United had gone 25 years without a league title and came so close before being pipped by Leeds.

Fergie said that the pain of coming so close would stand them in good stead for subsequent challenges and the next 22 years brought about 38 trophies.

Whilst those words are comforting, I don't think we're strong enough and rich enough to win it with the extra games next season.

QPR fans are quite proud of our contribution towards that. :D

I see Cystanbul is trending. Trust Talk Sport to pull together the best

It's always just a big plate if the opposition have won it ;)

Don't forget, Dean it was counted in the Glorious 5 trophies Liverpool won, when it wasn't a big plate.

I never count it. Daft trophy.

Hilarious! You won a big plate!

We had a "terrible season" a couple of years ago because we won nothing despite fighting on all fronts and eventually getting pipped by City for the title. :(

This season we won something :)

It was a comedy picture meant with irony ;)

I know. :)

Last game at OT for Vidic tonight if he plays. Last game at OT for a few in fact.

I'm hoping Giggs gives himself a few mins playing time.

Also hoping reports are true that some of the young players (Keane, Lawrence, Wilson, Varela etc) may feature.

Giggs has to play himself at some point. I assume those three are academy players?

Yep - but if he hadn't done tonight he wouldn't get his 'final game' at OT

Unless of course he gets another contract

Under 21s.

I watch them a bit on MUTV

They won the Premier League last year and beat Liverpool 0:1 at Anfield on Friday in this years semi to reach the final against Chelsea.

It's a funny set up where the top 4 at the end of the year go into semi finals and then the final.

The final isn't till the 14th May so there was a chance to play them tonight.

As for Giggs - I don't think he'll continue (as a player) next season but it would be good to see him nick a goal. He hasn't got one this year but he has in every other Premier League season.

Almost perfect night for Utd. Bring on a youngster, who gets a couple of goals. van Persie comes on and gets a goal too. Giggs also comes on and shows a few glimpses of the player he is/was in possibly his last game. Could only have been bettered by him getting a goal. :)

Would have been interesting to see who would have taken a penalty. ;)

That would be a nice story. I like you guys much more now you're showing fallibility... and SAF is gone.

Delighted for Wilson getting a couple of goals.

Giggs sets up RVP and comes close with a free kick at the end. Their keeper even apologised for saving it.

Great scenes at the end with Vidic at the Stretford End

Strange crazy dance from RVP too.

Hope Meyler gets punished for his stamp on Januzaj

It's the thing I miss most with QPR now - we never bring through any youth team players now. Hopefully that will change once Redknapp goes but let's see - he certainly has 0 interest in that aspect of things at present.

I think it's silver rather than iron ;)

I wonder what Manchester City fans make of having Manchester United fans cheering them on tonight ?

It has been a bit weird to be honest! I was at a kids footy tournament in Wales for the City v Everton game on Saturday, and watched the game with about 500 others. All the Liverpool fans were supporting Everton and the rags were cheering City. Very confusing after a few pints!

Anyway, just got back from the match tonight - COME ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was odd in our pub tonight too.

No City or Liverpool fans here - Celtic, Rangers, Dundee United, St Johnstone and Manchester United supporters - but the place still went up when City scored the first.

I admit to a little fist pump but I felt dirty afterwards :(

The Bluemoon forum was amusing. City detest United more than they detest anybody else but seemed somewhat offended that we have a club we detest more than them. Dare I say they were somewhat bitter about it ;)

I guess with City winning the league a couple of years ago after so long - that ship has already sailed so the fallout of another title would be bearable.

If Liverpool win it they will understandably be insufferable for about five years.

Clearly advantage City but regardless it will make for another interesting final day.
