I know Guadiola likes to bribe the refs, but 3 mins was a bit quick for a dodgy decision... didn't see anything wrong with Welbecks goal.

Just one of those Simon - the Welbeck goal would have stood on another day but you can see why the ref gave 'high feet'.

Great atmosphere in the bar tonight - On the whole I was happy with United's performance.

Bayern had all the 'possesion' stats in the first half hour or so but I don't recall much in the way of clear cut chnaces for either side in the first half apart from the next glaring Welbeck miss.

United pushed on and got the goal, Bayern responded and 1:1 was probably about right.

What I would is say (pinch me) is that Moyes got it right tonight. Perhaps one day we will actually have a centre midfield but for now Jones (a CB) and Giggs (an OAP) did a job in the middle protecting a shuggled back 4.

I fully expect us to crash out after the 2nd leg but you never know.

Great result for Utd.

I think most people were expecting Bayern to win easily, so well done for Utd for giving themselves a chance in the 2nd leg.

Wouldn't it be funny if United failed to finish top 4 (which is nailed on) but then went and............

Anyway - I'm about to vanish off to the Outer Hebrides - No TV for the 2nd leg and no web so I'll be following the radio,

Fair play to United last night. I couldn't bring myself to watch it, but followed along on the radio. It seems that Moyes was in his comfort zone as the plucky underdog and it worked out well. You do have a chance, but I'd still be amazed if you won at the Allianz.

Didn't look convincing, seems a lot of the decisions were bought with players on both sides going down reasonably easily and staying down. Great goal by Utd, to head the ball from behind him with power was impressive. Really poor equaliser which you saw coming a mile off, especially with Fellani ambling back. its like Utd have 10 players with him on th epitch.

So glad we're playing tomorrow as its my wife's 40th today.

Lots of worried looking Cit€h fans looking worried through the first half, but two very late goals (one could have been fractionally offside ;)) will make it very hard for Southampton to get a result.

Fractionally offside by about 6 feet!

Easy win for Chelsea. Pressure firmly on Liverpool now.

Great result for palace yesterday. A screamer from Puncheon too!!

Dodgy equaliser from west ham today.....

Terrible decision by the ref. Clear foul on the keeper.

Get in, 5 more results like that and I'll be over the moon. I wont have any fingernails left though. Another awful refereeing display today, but it seems that two wrongs do indeed make a right. About time the refs were bought to book, this season has been the worst I can ever remember for awful decisions.

A very well done to Leicester City who were promoted yesterday. They have been magnificent pretty much of the season, it'll be interesting to see if Pearson gets the financial backing to keep them up.

That's cos Fergie isn't around to keep them in line :D

Will Liverpool be the first team to win the league on penalties

Imagine how many pens liverpool would of had without Hannibal Lecter's reputation ;)

Looking from the outside, I reckon he's thinking that if you win the FA cup he can go out on a high.

Can't see him winning the league anytime soon so it would be a good exit for him
depends if he plays for penalties again ;)

Well I wouldn't call one trophy in 10 years a high but know what you mean.
TBH can't see Arsenal making the final never mind winning it.

Well done to Chel$ki. I didn't think they would do it, and after hitting the crossbar a few times I thought it wasn't their night, and I didn't want them to do it, ;) but credit where it is due.

The longer they stay in the less attention they pay to the league.
