i'm sure Moyes will be a lot of people's favourite manager this year

.......Only other manager who I think has done as well is pullis!

Not Pochettino? They were battling relegation last year, they've established themselves in the top half of the Premier League this season. They're currently 9th but they're 9 points ahead of 10th!

Talking of which, has there ever been a season where a club has been in the top half in February but still been under serious threat of relegation? There are only 4 points between Swansea in 10th and West Brom in 18th. Fulham are pretty much in the same position as we were this time last year and are away to Man Utd today (although who knows what could happen in that one the way things have been going) so I'm guessing they'll be for the drop but, as for the other relegation spots, perm any 2 from 10.

It's chicken and the egg.

Liverpool didn't allow Arsenal to be at their best.

And more importantly why didn't Arsenal turn up knowing full well how Liverpool would go at them? I'd be a worried Gooner.

It's hard to recover after an early goal, and Liverpool never let up. Arsenal may have been poor but Liverpool were fantastic. I hope in the Summer Rodgers looks at Ince, looks such a good talent, Redmond looks like he could also been a good squad player and lastly which I think some people might go "What you talking about" Albrighton at Villa. Every time I see him play he impresses me.

P.S. Well done Fulham, although should of got three points as Old trafford is no fortress now!

We don't need Ince. Ibe will be better.

Not seen much of Ibe, if he is better (or will be) then i will be happy. Certainly need another option or two for the trio when one of the three (Suarez, Sturridge & Sterling).

We need more cover everywhere to be honest. Not enough depth for CL.

Oh My GOD!
This must be like childbirht! Every time the pain eases and you think there's a smooth speel ahead, another unexpected kick in the crotch and it knocks you breathless again! C'mon Dr Moyes ... deliver us The Boys!

I'll be patient ... but that first shot of Moyes on the bench within 2 minutes made me wonder what I'm putting my faith in.

I'm trying really hard not to gloat.

Nope, I shall rise above it... kinda like our respective league positions. ;)

So, liverpool perform a good Arse battering yesterday and United prove to be far from Fullham today .... what will happen on Wednesday?
Arsenal really should do a 6-1 or 8-2 or something similar the way things are. Love Football, Hate Wednesday :D

I'm trying really hard not to gloat.

It's been a while so I wouldn't blame you :)

It's time to stop concerning yourselves with United's situation though.

You're 1 of 4 title contenders now regardless of what Brenton says or however much Liverpool fans try to justify why they shouldn't be.

Chelsea, Arsenal and City about to resume Champions League football and whilst you'll have that to deal with next season, it could yet prove to be key.

I guess it's our turn to enjoy not having the stress of a title run in and being able to tease whoever misses out on the title ;)

Whilst that may be true it is also true what Buck said about it being unprecedented to go from 7th to 1st. I think we'd all be happy with fourth with anything else a bonus.

Can't see Liverpool winning, not with 3 other teams in contention. Straight fight between Chelsea and City.

Well we've gone from 1st to 7th so why not :)

Liverpool have a great chance from their current position. Not having CL footy has been worth a few points and Chelsea, City and Arsenal still have CL games to come.

City, Chelsea, United, Spurs, Everton have all had new managers bedding in this season and could be stronger next season and Liverpool will have CL games to contend with.

I think it's a great chance for Liverpool this year even if I'm sticking with Chelsea.

At the start of the season I thought it would be between Chelsea and City and it probably still will be. Arsenal and Liverpool are still in there though so you never know.

Of course it's not impossible that we win, but I just don't think we're ready yet to get over the line. It's Chelsea's to lose now.

I think it's Cit€h's to lose, and Chel$ki's to win imho. Chel$ki seem to have the easiest (in theory) run in between the two. Cit€h have so much quality in depth, they should be ahead.

Liverpool have a chance, and if they played the same way against everyone as they did against Arsenal I would be confident, but for every Arsenal or Spurs result there is a West Brom, or even worse, a Hull result. It would not surprise me if Liverpool lose or draw with Fulham on Wednesday, but then I surprise me if they got a bag full. You never really know yet, what you're going to get.

Wherever they end up, it is a good season, and lots of positives. They are attractive to watch too. ;) :)

One thing is for sure, it's been a far more interesting EPL than last season.

I see the FA are taking no action over the kick by Yaya Toure on Norwich's Ricky van Wolfswinkel, I know it wasn't that bad but still has to be against the laws of the game surely. To make it even more bizarre, the other 'off the ball' incident on saturday when Craig Bellamy rubbed his arm (can't really say he punched) over Jonathan De Guzman's neck/shoulder area, again which is against the laws of the game, is leading towards a violent conduct charge and a three match ban. Why is it that it seems to be 'one rule for one, and another for everyone else' again, the consistant inconsistancies by the FA are becoming annoying and confusing. Over the last few years the FA has become more of a laughing stock over every major decision it makes.

United XI: De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Cleverley, Carrick, Mata; Rooney, van Persie
Subs: Lindegaard, Büttner, Ferdinand, Fellaini, Young, Hernandez, Januzaj

We'll get mullered in midfield tonight.

Depends which arsenal side turn up

Wow, Liverpool win in Brendan time. Crazy game just glad Liverpool won....Just need city to drop points in there game against Sunderland (when it is played).

Blimey, football is bad for my heart!

RVP out !

He'd have put a couple of those away last season. Solid at the back, game would be won. All Moyes fault lol

On the whole - can I have the last few hours back please. A no score draw bore snore of a game.

Should have watched us. More Toure "magic", the standard Suarez outrageous effort that hit the woodwork, thrills and spills and a debut cameo from a youngun who's gonna be a star.

If it was the only game on then I would have

watched the Winter Olympics ;)

Manchester City have been given the green light to expand the capacity of the Etihad Stadium from 47,670 to 62,170.

The plans could create about 160 temporary construction jobs during both stages of the expansion. Once the work is complete up to 220 permanent match day jobs are set to be created – 110 for each phase.

This would include up to 40 stewards, 50 catering and hospitality staff and 200 staff to wipe a year's worth of dust from 20,000 seats prior to Derby Day.

Fulham have bottled it and got rid of Rene Meulensteen after only 17 games in charge. I thought they were starting to get some form from the last couple of games. To bring in a 3rd manager, and a manager who hasn't worked in the UK before in Felix Magath, is a big risk. Magath has at least been successful as a manager, which Meulensteen had not. 12 games is not very long to try and turn Fulham around though.

Not keen on clubs changing managers too often. :(

Yawnnnnnn

This from the club who had a waiting list of 100000 for season tickets a few years ago but now admit having to sell tickets cheap to student unions in order to sell seats!

HMS Titanic FC has well and truly left the port!
