I really don't mind if he does go. I think we've won things in spite of him the last couple of years, terrible decisions on a regular basis and never a plan B.

The only down side to him going is losing continuity

That's why (as a United fan) I don't want him gone. I honestly don't think he knows what he's doing at times. As I said further up the thread, City could and probably would have swept up everything over the last few years had they had somebody more competent at the helm.

I missed most of the game, and didn't really mind who won, two teams who are both likeable, but I have always generally favoured the underdog so happy for Wigan and Martinez.

Will Wigan get a great bounce at Arsenal, if they did that last game against Villa would be interesting.

On another note, I'm no Chelsea fan but well done to Lampard, I still can't believe Chelsea are thinking of letting him go, I don't thing there is a team in the Premier League that would not want him in their squad.

Last official estimates at fans turning out fir parades.

Utd - 12000

City - 60000

United dad to son "should we go and see the victory parade"
"No dad we saw it last year and the year before that"

City dad to son "should we go and see victory parade"
"We better had dad It might be a few years before we see another one"

are they the average estimated figures for the last 20 years pooley?
or jst the last 3?

anyway, well done Wigan
pretty poor showing from city this season, but at least they get to sing about estimated attendances at a couple of parades

Wigan were good and so pleased for them. Ideally they will beat us on Tues after Spurs lose tomorrow as really want them to stay up!

Man City fan since 1970- I have never been a fan of Mancini- I don't believe he really knows what he's doing and even an average Manager could have achieved what he has with the squad he's got. Today was embarrassing and Wigan deserved to win. Won't be sorry to see Mancini go as I'm sure he will. Martinez could do a better job at City.

Phil, I'm more than happy for that, god forbid we turn into a bunch of glory hunters

If you can string a couple of decades together at the top then a new generation of kids will choose City. It happened with United and Liverpool before that.

Was hoping for extra time lol

Congratulations to Wigan, well deserved win. As for Nasri and city .... shame on you!

There is a cracking photo doing the rounds of Mancini going home on the tube.

Also, my source says the reason why Mancini is/was odds on for leaving......... He actually resigned his tenure on Thursday night and is taking up a post at Real Madrid.p

have you changed sources recently? or do we have to take this with a pinch of salt?

Is agger joining city today?

Well done for Frank Lampard for breaking the Chel$ki goalscoring record. I didn't Lampard when he first went to Chel$ki, but I've come to appreciate how good a player he is.

If he is to leave Chel$ki, (they're mad if they let him go) then I'm glad he got the chance to beat the record before he left.

Agreed - well done fat Frank.

I'm miffed because I was going to replace Michu with Lampard this week in my FF team but changed my mind at the last min and stuck Walcott in instead. I'm in 4th in the TP league with no hope of catching up but I'm clinging onto to 1st in my work league where there's a windfall at stake.

Should be an emotional day at Old Trafford today.

Tried all my mates yesterday to see if anybody's seat was spare but no chnance.

I'm also 1st in my mini league and a good 100 points ahead so pretty sure I'm going to top it

Should I be looking over my shoulder in the TP league or is Honorary Northerners your real team ? :naughty:

actually it's my daughters :naughty:

Will you be able to cope by not winning the TP league phil? Or do we need to get the counsellor ready - How is Jamie holding up?

Rooney and Phil Jones fighting in training - stitches needed - for Rooney

Should make for an interesting team selection today.

Supposedly, yet there's still no photos of said injury.

I wonder what face Jones pulls in a fight?

What odds on a Scholes goal to mark his retirememt today ?

There will only be photos if anyone had a camera with them.

And the amount of cameras and fans around every training session means there's usually pictures of these things flying around within minutes.

Of course, if it comes from your source we can all take comfort in the fact it's probably true ;)

I'm not saying it didn't happen, just that it's unusual not to see photos of the damage pretty quickly afterwards!
