is it really only half 7 ? :gag:

tara!

You can just imagine new2me at his desk with a fuming grin on him pretending that he is just joking around and having some banter but deep down is seething with rage

The other incident that I'd like to mention is the coin in your game. Sickening. That **** should be charged with assault.

I totally agree, it was a 2p coin and could of had someones eye out. Disgusting behaviour.

On a less serious note, if that's all he's being offered as a transfer fee there are better ways of going about it.

how old are you Joe?

oops, the last time someone questioned your age the thread was napalmed!

You pair are hilarious. No, really.

I'd have taken a point at half time but that showed character.

There were so many coins too. You'd think the Bitters were made of money - thankfully none hit that camera though.

Sounds like a fair bit went on that TV chose to ignore - not the product they want to be showing I guess.

Fair play to Hart though for blocking that City fan and resisting the temptation to tie a knot in his hat.

Eek, guess I hit a nerve, sorry. Didn't mean to take it too far, I'm just joshing with you. Don't mean to upset. Lets shake on it and move on, no hard feelings

On the coin throwing, that was disgusting, I don't like that rat face Ferdinand but he didn't deserve that.

yeah, no big deal really

but if you're going to be so lazy as to attribute 'rat face' to Ferdie (now that Neville has retired) I have to be caUTIOUS

****!

Will RVP be the difference that wins Man Utd the league this year? Looks like he may be, long way to go of course.

Diving is so hard to tell, there should be no disciplinary action from ref at all, they often get it wrong both ways, so the FA should review games. 3 matches not enough imo. 5 at least.

Problem is you then have to up suspensions for other fouls - you can't, for me anyway, have diving getting you 5 games and red card for violent conduct getting 3 games. I think 3 games would be sufficient, but as with current red cards if you get another suspension is 4 games, and so on. So repeat offenders will get higher bans.

Good to see City and United players together at the X Factor final LOL

Not sure what else to say. That was a genuine apology for upsetting you

Can you two put an end to this playground bickering, it is very tiresome and if it doesn't stop you will be having time off.

You are on very thin ice guys, no more warnings.

I reiterate my apology for taking it too far. Not sure what else I was supposed to do.

as punishment city should be thrown out of the champions league:whistling:

I can imagine it is tiresome for all the other fans of all the other teams that follow this thread. The problem as I see it is that there are not enough of them posting positive, supportive stuff about their teams. Apart from the QPR and Arsenal posters, there just appears to be an endless stream of anti United guff from one particular poster. I'm not anti Liverpool, so cant really be bothered responding with predictable counter attacks (although others do a good job of it from time to time), so I have a dig at joe, because he is obviously very thick skinned and can take a dig or two.

So i'll bow out from this thread again and hopefully some of the other 'real' football fans will share some views about their teams. After all it is a football thread and not an anti Miilionaires' Plaything thread

I would also prefer that we talk intelligently about football here too. The 'banter' becomes so tiresome.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA just seen the Everton result

Incidentally, before the United game kicked off a guy on 5 Live said that if matches were only 80 minutes long then Tottenham would currently be top of the league. I suppose today rubs that stat in a little more

Hate it when people say stuff like that...its like when i'm at the horse racing and people will moan that in a few more strides their horse would of won!

Yes mate but the race was over 3 miles not 3 miles and a few feet! ffs!!

Great post. It becomes too easy to expect a win and keep quiet when it comes and only to speak up when you're disappointed.

Obviously the banter between fans is part of the fun for a lot of people but I do think it ought to be used sparingly and people should get behind their teams more.

I don't actually think it's silly. It highlights a big point about the way teams perform at different stages of the game. The teams like United who ramp up the intensity of their game in the final stages have a major advantage over those who fade in the final 10 minutes.

Having watched the penalty claim again I agree with you Dean. Reid didn't touch the ball, it should have been a penalty, but when you watch where the ref is, it looks like reid gets it, especially the direction the ball moves after the tackle, it's only in slow mo you can see it is jonjo that taps the ball in that diection and reid gets nothing on it. Can't blame the ref for not seeing it though

From what I saw on MOTD I thought he played the ball. I can't watch that video on my phone though.

I agree that the refs view does give him the option to get out of it, but where is his linesman?

The earlier one where Dagger was wrestled to the ground was clearcut though.

Everytime I hear the name it reminds of of the four candle sketch by the two ronnies.
