Funny that the 2 incidents you refer to happened when he wasn't a Liverpool player......but now he is with The Cult, most of his challenges now are just 'mis-timed' or merely 'accidents'.

Not my fault he hasn't bitten anyone since joining Liverpool?

So 45 mins until possibly our first victory, game could go either way, definitely there for the taking, Sunderland look almost as bad as us under Hughes.

I missed the first half but it doesn't sound like we're doing too bad. Green coming on for Cesar, squeaky bum time.

Decent enough result - draw and a clean sheet, not sure we can argue with that considering our position.

Villa at home this Saturday - that really is a must win, again! I'm confident, slightly, maybe, possibly.

You going Al?

Villa winning tonight wasn't the best result, the gap to safety is now 8 points. Saturday's game is now a vital win I think.

Yep going - looking forward to it. Think it will be a good atmosphere, hopefully a good game.

liverpool have a troll in the squad?

Well, I have to say that in recent times we've played crap against Spurs and it's the fixture I expect us to get nowt from even with the evil but brilliant Suarez.

I hope so. Should be a slightly different dynamic than under 'Arry as AVB plays a much more counter-attacking style. Our possession game does leave us vulnerable to quick counters and I expect goals. I predict we'll lose though and I never say that.

2-0 down already so it looks like what I predicted. A thrashing is on the cards.

Boooooo

you're a little behind me in predicting that, bud. ;)

No. You said we would lose. I said we'd be thrashed. We'll see how it goes.

Also, after your tea bag incident I am going to make sure I don't get behind you.

Struggled with a very stuttery stream but from what I saw it seemed a mixed performance from United and West Ham offered little.

Happy with a clean sheet and most importantly the 3 points.

Chelsea dropping more points was good. Only negative was that City improve their goal difference a bit.

Haven't seen the penalty incidents Rogers was talking about. He spent quite a while going on about Suarez and Gerrard both having been assualted and that they should have been given pens and how they couldn't even buy a penalty at the moment etc etc then he paused and said - but we don't want to talk about referee's decisions.

Hope Rafa's first win takes as long as Torres' first goal lol

Haha I just watched it. Love the way he dropped!

I'm not sure Henderson fouled Dempsey for the freekick Bale scored from. Seems you were a little hard done by there!

didn't see the game but looking at the stats it seems like we should have won that game.

Did Bale take a dive for that yellow or was he fouled?

Only seen it once and wasn`t really paying attention.

Just seen Bale's own goal. HA that was FUNNY.

I just about ****ed myself laughing when I saw that own goal from Bale

I nearly did again when I learned that makes him your joint second highest goal scorer.

As for the game - Own goal aside I think Liverpool did well to dig themselves back into the game but the key point for me was Liverpool's selection on the left hand side. Playing Downing at left back and knowingly weakening your defence because you believe your left back will be more of a threat going forwards than him would worry me and probably leave Downing feeling pretty dumped.

I don't care how many times I see it, I always laugh when someone gets a football in the face or somewhere more delicate

Downing as left back was not a tactical choice just for the spurs game. He played there at the weekend as well. Don't know why.

I was under the impression that converting Downing to a left back was a part of Rodger's new long term plan.

Told you why.....

Oh right. Didn't realise you had a direct line to Brendon Rodgers. Are there any targets for January?

Lowly, forever to be known as 'cash-strapped' on Sky Sports, little club from South London, Crystal Palace had the audacity to beat the Media's constant source of masturbation, Manchester United. How dare they!

Best. Night. Of. My. Life!
