The same source that claimed Carroll signed for west ham?

My source was correct (all though I never said he had signed for them (just keeping up to date with your level of pedant))....he was off to West ham but the player broke the agreement about personal terms.

I will bring you another exclusive soon.

I'm pretty certain Arsenal will bring in one or two more signings before the transfer window closes. It is a great bit of business, I don't think that could be argued.

Re: Song - if he wants to go, then go. What's the point in keeping unhappy players? No individual(s) is bigger than any club. Vermaelen and Koscielny showed how easy it is to sign new contracts.

I think the money made on RVP and Song (if he goes) will be spent on new signings. M'vila being top of the list apparently.

Carzola is in my FF team - I am that confident of his ability ;)

Your post about van persie leaving was hardly an exclusive. It came with a link to the media all reporting he would be leaving and not signing a new contract

If that's giving an exclusive then I exclusively told you all when he actually signed for man united - the fact that the media were all reporting it at the same time is irrelevant. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!!!!!!!!!!:lol::lol:

Nonsense Joe...I was the 1st to tell you that he was meeting Fergie which none of the press new about....it wasn't for another few days before that story broke.....go check the time line if you don't believe me.

Sahin is a good player Joe - looks like he's coming your way on loan ?

Not seen him before. Watched a few videos on youtube, looks like he's very good at keeping possession and getting the ball back. On adams performance last season I think he should basically start in place of him.

show me proof that the meeting you claim to have happened back in may did actually happen and I'll believe you.

Sahin and Kagawa were both part of Dortmunds success. A lot of big Premier Leage clubs were after him before he went to Real Madrid.

How can I show you proof?..... I received a call from my source about the meeting and I reported it on here....that is enough proof, or are you calling me psychic?

how is it proof?

Van persie signing for united in August isn't proof that he met fergie on the date you said in may. Unless you can show proof that he met him then it's no more than a rumour.

By the way I have a source that very reliably told me that Jack Butland just had a meeting with brendon rodgers.

You heard it hear first! It's an exclusive!

Whatever Joe, at the end of the day I was right and you seem a little peeved at the fact. Tell me how to show proof from a phone call and I will do my best to show it for you.

Is BR on the same plane as JB right now?

lighten up tom! :)

Plus it's proof that the meeting happened you must provide (that should be easy enough), not proof someone rang you to say it was happening.:thumbs:

Juventus , City and United were the ONLY clubs to show interest in RVP.

Juventus, a move abroad was not an opinion for family reasons

City, would have walked to Manchester had Nasri not been there.

United, Was his ONLY opinion. Hardly an exclusive.

It was when no club had even shown any interest....timeline is everything.......

From The Guardian

Van Persie, moreover, buys heavily into United's tradition and playing style whereas he is less keen on how City have spent lavishly to accumulate under the Abu Dhabi United Group. He was receptive to the idea of going to Juventus, although he had reservations about Serie A.

I've just been reminded that only 2 weeks ago Wenger said he didn't know who Cazorla was and now look where he is. Unfortunately for us, Wenger keeps silent on all things transfer related. I'm sure we'll see one or two more players arrive, and perhaps a few more to leave too.

I think there's a little more to it than that, as well as what dinners has already said, City have 6 highly paid/profile (except Santa Cruz) strikers on their books already - there's no way they could have brought in RVP without selling.

well, unlike a lot of others I do think van persie was worth the money because he will put united back in contention for tropheys. Thats got to be worth the fee for him even if it is only for a 2/3 year impact.

After the season they had last year and the embarassment of not winning a trophey for the first time in 10 years I think they probably got a little panicky and realised their squad wasn't strong enough. So they had to stretch and spend that cash. But it's going to have an impact and with the other signings and returns to the squad they will look a very strong prospect for the tropheys this season.

Which brings me to the point about predictions - I think i'm the only one or maybe one other who has made them for the top and bottom 6 for al's spreadsheet. pull your fingers out people

Not that again

I said (esp with the RVP thing brewing) that I was waiting till the last minute till I know who has what squads

It will be good for football if he does, as I think he is tallent, just wasn't in the right team

I have sent Al a PM with my selections - should it have gone elsewhere?

sigh, another spelling pedant. This site is full of them

Not really. I thought you were doing it on purpose for some sort of joke, but since you bring it up, it is a glaring mistake that you have done severalteen times.

Why not install a spellchecker to your browser so that incorrectly spelled words are highlighted and therefore minimising the threat of a pedantic post?
