I haven't got an English person in my fantasy team, put it that way. In fact I have a swedish person left in there but only because he was the cheapest starting XI defender to make up the numbers.

I'd hate to call this game either way. It could be a stalemate, we could find our stride and put 4 past them, or we could crumble and concede 2 or more.

Hopefully Roy brings the England capable of the middle option with him...just don't score too many because I don't want to lose the points! :D
 
I'm happy Carroll and Welbeck start this game and I'm hoping Young being back on the left will help.

I reckon Carroll's role is key tonight and can see both Young and Welbeck feeding off him.

In terms of central midfield - I'm not sure whether Parker and Gerrard will play as deep as they did against against France. On the one hand I'd like to see Gerrard further forward but not loosing is more important than winning so I guess first goal scored will determine that.

As ever - I'm happy with our defence but expect Ibrahimovic and Elmander to cause problems.
 
Carroll's inclusion should mean the ball will get held up meaning everyone can play a bit higher up the pitch a bit more.

Of course the concern is Ibrahimovic, we need to keep him quiet!

Let's hope we're a little more positive than we were against the French ;)

Looks promising so far. I think the tactics were spot on versus France, and can't argue with the change tonight.

Being half french the groups results here so far have worked out perfectly for me!
 
England once again clearly not pressing when Sweden have possesion in the final third. Have they been told to stand off ?

Now I'm not particularly a Terry fan..........but that Ibrahimovic is a bit of a 'high-boarder'.

Welbeck - make me think you are any good :shake:
 
Average but happy with the score

Shearer for once made sense - Carroll in for Young so Young could be providing Carroll from the left but he's still in there up front. Not sure if that's where Young has been told to play but he needs to get wide.

Pedestrian Terry still concerns me though and is an accident waiting to happen.

Just hope to god we don't drop deep again as we're crap at that.

Oh, and I'm back to my old opinion of Carroll. Lazy sod is nothing but a head to aim at.
