Not holding out much hope for my fantasy team. 3 players on my team are now ruled out from injury for their first game and i'm away from mu computer and unable to sign in via my iPhone to make changes!

I just picked a team without much thought just so I could register and then never found the time to go back to it.

It gets locked in for certain periods and you're allowed a certain number of changes for each stage of the competition so you can swap out players in eliminated teams or injured people etc
 
Just looked at the rules.

15 changes allowed in the group stage and 25 in all.

I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with that LOL

I can't remember my pin to check, defo didn't have the keeper, pretty sure I didn't have the Greek guy either, but I might have had a Czech defender and they got 4 goals past them, maybe that's why.

I was only making selections based on finishing above you and stopped playing towards the end once it was in the bag.

Had I known you were sneaking along incognito I'd have toppled that one too :thumbs:

That's the problem with man u fans, they are so used to winning, they make terrible losers. Unlike us Liverpool fans who have got used to it over the last 20 years. :D
 
John Barnes signed for Liverpool 25 years ago today.

That makes me feel old.

well, i cant belive holland lost that game. and it really was them losing it rather than denmark winning. Denmark didn't defend well, the dutch just missed every chance. It was ridiculous
 
There are many reasons to bring Klose one, the main one being he is my fantasy team captain! Come on Loew get him on!

So much for the group of death. It was a couple of pretty dull games wasn't it. Amazing when you think Denmark looked pretty good in it all, the Dutch couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo, the Germans are just German and the Portugese are just well, a one trick Pony, who was pony tonight with no service.

Roll on tomorrow :)
 
Anybody know how to see who has been awarded extra 'man of the match' points ?

Just got back to my computer to see i'm top of the league despite not picking a goalscorer (cheers holland!)...i'm sure that won't last long!
 
Just been listening to the 'supposed' England starting line up for tonights game.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, Parker, Gerrard, Milner,
---------Cole, Lescott, Terry, Johnson,
-----------------------Hart

Keeper and Defence predictable enough.

Young moved off the left to support Welbeck up front and Ox given the Nod on the left. I can see our left hand side being our main attacking option.

Milner on the right ahead of Johnson will hopefully be a steady option.

Remains to be seen whether that is the line up.

Ox, i think he showed potential but was very naive. I would have put walcott ahead of milner.

Glad to see henderson not in the team.

True in that Walcott would be better than Milner going forward on the right but by all accounts they're worried about Evra and Ribbery on the French left and Milner would protect Johnson more than Walcott.

Ox may be naive but he does have the benefit of having Cole behind him.

I think our left side is attacking and our right defensive.

I guess it can all change as the games pans out though.

Still perplexed by the inclusion of johnson over richards. Hodgson is right to be wary of their threat down the right but I can't help thinking Richards would have done a better job containing that threat the Johnson could. The inclusion of Milner because of his greater defensive role over Walcott almost seems a concession that Johnson is weak in that role, but perhaps he feels Richards would have been even weaker. I'm going to give up trying to rationalise Roy's team choice. At least I think he's usually very tactically astute!
 
Why the #@%$ do we have to put with Adrian Bloody Chiles for the footy?
Think I'll watch Coundown until the footy starts.
 
This is going to be the first game of the Euros i've had the chance to watch...please tell me they haven't got Robbie Savage in on the presenting? Adrian Chiles I can tolerate (just), but Robbie Fricking Savage is the single most annoying football pundit and television 'personality' I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. What makes it worse is he's cropping all over the bloody place!

That's OK then. ITV1 showing on STV so I've got the same.

BBC1 Scotland not showing it so just wanted to check whether BBC1 were showing it down there as I could have gone into the other room and watched BBC1 on Sky.
