Hi Jake.

This is the field behind the village shop....we went round clockwise after coming out the NT shop as we headed back to the car park...hope that makes sense...

Makes perfect sense, and after seeing your actual thread, I know exactly where this is. I rarely go to Avebury, too touristy and I can never find a pleasing composition. This has inspired me.
 
Sorry I've not visited you hear in a while Jeff. I've been spending the little time I have online on flickr recently, and have been following your work there. It just keeps getting better and better. I really like the conker shot. That movement of the background conker is amazing!
 
I'm not going to ask what you have the gas mask for but I like the portrait :)

Those pumpkins are brilliant too (and I like the composition). Cool angle/compo on the Big Ben shot too, it's good to see a different take on it.
 
OMG not been here for ages like all the London ones - but lemon slices stands out for me
