Cool, I've never taken a tripod when the fair's been in town and mine have always been somewhat blurred - this is really cool :thumbs:
 
Love the fairground shot, were you ok taking a tripod? The one we get locally always looks too dodgy to take my kit to.
As for the football, good capture & I think the way the other players are looking at him really makes the shot for me.

Yes the tripod would have made a good weapon anyway!!!
I got there as the fair opened at 6pm, which on the hand was good as less people to get in shots, but also meant once I had composed the shot I had to wait quite a while to get both rides running at the same time. I did put another on Flickr which was two shots combined, but the one for my potd was as taken.

Oh and for anyone concerned the footballer managed to jumpy to avoid the tackle :)

Yea - This was about the only keeper - I reckon it was harder than doing it with real cars - her little RC Car really zips along....we were on painswick golf course and it's got so many humps and bumps it was great fun...
Now I want one!!!!
 
Playing catchup again! I really like your fireplace triptych (be nice on a bedroom wall), Your fairground attractions are terrific, and that racing car shows some real skill. Those things move fast!
