Whoops! Sorry posted in wrong thread. :headbang:

Here's one that I did export at full quality from the flypast yesterday. Inspired by a couple of posts on here from Topsy, and also a James Popsys video, I've been experimenting with the X-Pan crop. I really like it, and it was very suitable for yesterday's planes.

X-T4 and XF 100-400mm.

Works nicely mate. (y)

Must admit, I found a new appreciation for the first X-Mount lens the XF35mm F1.4 this weekend. It did an excellent job, even shot wide open most of the time (a small amount of CA to deal with occassionally, but on the whole well handled)

That’s good to hear.

I think it's my favourite lens, of all the ones I've tried so far at least. I'm seriously considering getting another one and mothballing it for when mine finally gives up the ghost, as Carl from Fuji told me that they can't service it any more if it goes wrong.

Sounds like a good shout (y)

Mine had been mothballed by the previous owner for 12 years, so it’s had very little use - hopefully will last some time

Even though I love that 33mm, I still have the 35 sitting in the camera cupboard. Mrs fancies getting a camera, so I think it will suit her down to the ground.

You know you secretly covet the 35 and wanna hand off the 33….

Anyone else keep accidentally moving the focus selector switch? :headbang:
This caught me an out a lot the other day in quite bright sunshine.
I found once the focus point had shifted it got lost amongst the other details on the rear screen.
So after a bit a playing about, I think I have come up with a set of settings for the focus lever that help me out a bit.
Push is now set to recenter, so if in doubt a quick push will at least do that for me.
Tilt is now set to adjust, do any movement on the focus lever will light up the whole screen with the focus adjustment and I can see where it is and what it is set at a glance

Some oily bits from the Donington Historic Festival - a couple of Ford Cosworth Engines, firstly the famous DFV (fitted to many F1 cars during the 70s) and the scond is the Cosworth 3.4 GAA Engine, based on the 3 litre Capri Engine, these were taken out to 3.4litre and then had custom double overhead camshaft systems, geberating 462bhp, up from regular 3 lite Capri's 138bhp!!! Very few were made.

I'm going to be working in Swansea this week; thinking about making a stop at Port Talbot. Any tips on where to get a good view of (whatever's left of) the steelworks?

First time using my “new” xs10. The articulating screen came in very handy

I’m assuming you can only get captures like this shooting RAW and post-processing? My JPEG straight-out-of-camera workflow can do most things but contrasty sunsets are not one of them

Took the X-T50 out with the DispoLens today. This I think came out alright

It’s fun but the results aren’t amazing. I think it’s probably better indoors with people and a flash

At 40MP with a plastic lens, the results won't be amazing but will be interesting. Disposable cameras were designed with people shots in mind, so anything further into the distance is never going to be super sharp.

I picked up one of these recently (for not much more than your DispoLens), I've only had a small play, but need to give it more of a workout

Nice; that looks cooler than the Dispolens. It was a birthday present so a nice little toy to experiment with. Shame I never socialise :ROFLMAO:
