That's a nice set David, I still have one of my X-Pro1s and the 23 f1.4 because they are so battered they're probably worth nothing. They do still work though but I very rarely use them, the lack of a diopter is a bit of an issue for me but I seem to manage fine with my Leica M9s and my glasses.

Thanks, my X-Pro1 is in timewrap condition (less than 1000 shots since new), I’m considering putting it up for sale as I have a hankering for another L**** camera. The XF35mmF1.4 and XF18mmF2 are equally minty and I have an unused Fuji Leather case as well - it doesn’t really get enough use……….

I know what you mean David, I admire how you and others seem to be able to go out with one focal length, I have far too much FOMO to do that but if I were to want to do the (Fuji) 1C1L outing with a 35mm equivalent I'd opt for my X100T over my X-Pro1 because it has the diopter and a "macro" setting. These days if I am out really lightweight on a non photo specific outing I take my Leica D-Lux 7 as it has a 24-75 (equivalent) zoom and macro capability.

This snap has not been posted via Flickr as I'm trying to keep that a/c for my mono street work, hence the dip in quality.

Tulip from the garden, but a fair amount of manipulation with Boris optics and PS ;)

This would make a beautiful wall art print — printed really large for effect - superb….!

Nuff said.

Thank you :)
I find it quite mesmerising. Might just get this one printed.

Hey all.
I'm debating upgrading the X-S10 to the X-S20 and with a trade in I can pick one up for £450.
For those in the know, is this a worthwhile upgrade?
Fatser processor, more recipes and an extra stop of IBIS (I'm doing a lot of night photography), plus better button ergonomics seems to be about it..

I've a business trip to Tanzania coming up and I've added a Serengeti safari to it. In preparation, I bought myself a Fuji 100-400 lens and went to test it out on London wildlife yesterday - the deer in Richmond Park. Nothing special in midday light, but I know the lens works fine on my XT2, and focus is spot on.

1. Not the most testing subject to get in focus when they just stand and stare at you

2. Most of my shots are of deer trying to lick their bums, for some reason

3. You don't exactly need 400mm on a crop body for these "wild" animals

The 'wild' animals in that last shot are totally OOF :D

Lens looks spot on and be great for your Safari ;)

The big difference is the stacked sensor. Its benefit is the potential for more frames per second. No rolling shutter. Maybe even a bit more dynamic range than the X-H2. I’ve had both. The 2S is far better for action. The AF is probably the same algorithm on both.
I’ve had both. Loved them both.
If I had to choose today it’d be the s.

I keep meaning to go there one weekend. The 100-400 is a fantastic lens; every time I use mine I'm reminded what a joy it is to shoot with :)
