Can't you assign custom function to the SPAM dial ?
Then the SPAM dial would just have 1 custom recipe on it? at the moment it has like 20 factory ones.

I thought I read that the button to the right of the eyecup, normally WB could be set to it. Maybe I am wrongNoooope.
The only fn button left are ISO and Q and I like them to stay as they are, Q for quick mention is useful.
On the back there is Menu/ok and Display/Back and the joystick.
Big birthday in a few days, so thought I’d treat myself to a new camera.….
Can’t buy one for love nor money (X100VI)and I’m not keen on joining a pre-order queue

Yeah, looks like they have nearly every option apart from that oneOh, I forgot about that button! Currently for Face detect on/off.
Can't see it to change it to recipes as an option though.
X-T5 and 23mm WR is far better and as the 100's aren't really pocketable that would be my choiceBig birthday in a few days, so thought I’d treat myself to a new camera.….

I was trying to add them to the down arrow on my x-e1 the other day and for the life of me could not work out why it was not working. The easiest way is to be able to save it as an extra slot in the Sim screen. That would be the most logical place to put it.

Turns out I had been playing with recipe bracketing and whilst that was still active, you could not assign the recipe page to any buttons.

No its worth abut for a big birthday it was worth a shout - the main issuie though is @bloater - he needs not to get buyers remorse (over any purchase) and get out there and use it - both of which so far have eluded previous camera purchases. @bloater think long and hard before buying anything (please)

Scarily accurate Mr Percpetive.
What is this Leica Q that you speak of?
I’ve used the OVF almost exclusively on my previous Vs and Fs - never found an EVF very appealing. So the X100 series makes sense for me.

Sorry my bad, film simulation bracketing. You choose 3 of them and it takes 3 pictures at the same time, one with each chosen simI don't even know what recipe bracketing is.

I don’t think I’m doing that since I don’t get 3 photos per shot.Sorry my bad, film simulation bracketing. You choose 3 of them and it takes 3 pictures at the same time, one with each chosen sim
So you want a ‘proper’ Leica in that case, an M10Scarily accurate Mr Percpetive.

Kawaguchiko by Jamie Moulton, on FlickrSpotted this tree in Kawaguchiko, Japan.
Kawaguchiko and it's north shore are popular photo spots, so I'm surprised I've never seen this before. It's only about 5-10minutes walk further than the usual spots.
Given how well kept all trees are in Japan, I can't help but feel that the shape isn't a coincidence - There has likely been some deliberate pruning over the years...

Fuji x100Vi availability.Updated March 21st
When Fujifilm announced its new X100VI rangefinder-style camera at a press event in Japan last month, it teased a special version of the camera: the X100VI Limited Edition. Following an announcement on its Instagram channel today, we now know that sales of the Limited Edition model in the US will be limited to just 300 cameras.
Fujifilm UK has revised its plan for distributing its 110 units is now asking prospective buyers to register for the Fujifilm X mailing list. A link to join a ballot will be sent out on March 25th, making it easier for photographers outside London to apply.
According to Fujifilm, 100 cameras will be sold daily in the US from March 21st to March 23rd on a first-come, first-served basis, and you'll need to buy them directly from Fujifilm's online store, so if you want one, you'll need to move quickly (and maybe have a bit of luck to boot).
Here's a rundown of where to order the X100VI Limited Edition in different countries:
Have information on where to order the X100VI in other markets? Let us know in the comments, or send us a message, and we'll add it to the list.
- US: Fujifilm online store (300 cameras, March 21-23, first come, first served)
- UK: Ballot of applicants via Fujifilm X email list (110 cameras)
- Australia: Fujifilm House of Photography (75 cameras, window closed)
Thank you very muchNice shots!![]()
That is just the special limited edition version though. I like that Hong Kong are only accepting registrations to their ballot from email addresses that have previously been used to register a Fuji camera.Fuji x100Vi availability.
These have a nice vibe - what filter/processing ?
The reviews suggest the LM WR version is a little better. Had it on my X-T5. Super combo. Is this the best 23mm lens?
