Go to www.fujixweekly.com@trevorbray Really like that recipe for TriX .
Please can you share the settings either here or in PM to me.
Thanks.
There is an app that lists them but also the website, Fuji X Weekly. The app is also called Fuji X Weekly. Is this an app, if so, what app?
I hear about these recipes a lot, are they put inside the camera? I didn't know you can do that.....even the X100 and X-T1/Pro1?

No idea about android.
Like @RichardC27 says though. All on the site. Different steps for different X-Trans generations.
So I guess whole idea is in camera processing, instead of having a LR preset made and do it in the computer?
Yes, the idea is you don't process the files at all, you use the in camera adjustments only. The guy who runs the site doesn't use anything other than his camera with the film recipes, and his iPhone to do minor cropping or straightening. All of the example photos on the film simulation recipe pages are SOOC jpegs. So I guess whole idea is in camera processing, instead of having a LR preset made and do it in the computer?

I've tended to shoot raw and process afterwards since getting my X-T4 last year but I'm going to give Jpeg shooting a go this year, using either these film simulation recipes or just the built in camera profiles. I've found the Fuji jpegs are good enough 90% of the time, they still allow a good amount of shadow and highlight recovery if needed.
I guess...in theory, you can use the X100 and put in recipes that isn't available on it from stock? like Classic Neg?
No, you can't add film simulations that aren't included in the camera firmware. This is one of the reasons the recipes on Fuji X Weekly are categorised by sensor generation, as some film simulations are only available on certain cameras. There are probably recipes that will try to emulate the look of later film simulations for cameras that don't have them.I guess...in theory, you can use the X100 and put in recipes that isn't available on it from stock? like Classic Neg?

The X-T4 doesn't have Nostalgic Neg, for example, that's limited to the X-H2 models and the X-T5, but I'd imagine all future Fuji cameras will have it. But Fuji are never going to add it to older cameras with a firmware update

I thought you can create your own with those settings?
I know newer cameras comes with more simulations but they come with from factory. Am I mistaken that these "recipes" are ones you make in ADDITION to the ones that comes with the camera?
If you can indeed tweak it, what's stopping me to adjust the settings in a camera?

Some simulations require changing settings that you don't have access to. In realistic terms, 90% of the recipe comes from the film sim you base it on, the white balance, and the tone curve by editing the shadow and highlight settings - but that is only for the overall RGB tone curve.
Some simulations would require changes to each channel individually, for example dropping the greens but boosting the reds, boosting blues but only in the shadows etc - You just don't have those settings in camera, Fuji sets the individual tone curves and colour profiles in the factory.
Nothing, but obviously it's very limited compared to any image editing software. I can change the tone curve, adjust WB, and have an adjustment range of +/- 5 on things like Colour, Sharpness and Clarity. Clarity is only available with the camera in Single shot mode, as it slows things down quite considerably. As above, the base look comes from the in-camera film simulation, you can only really make minor tweaks to that.I thought you can create your own with those settings?

Yes thanks. I have tried many of them but they dont work that well for me.Go to www.fujixweekly.com
There are hundreds of film simulation recipes to try, all organised by X-Trans sensor generation. I've got a few loaded into my camera to try over the next few weeks.

Wonderful expression.
Dave, I am pretty sure the TT350F works on my XS10. I will test later.Well the TT350F works fine on the X-T5 but NOT on the X-S10. Not fussed on that so all good, now have to find more batteries then test the TT685F, plus the trigger is all sorted so will get rid of the Sony trigger.

Does it not fire at all or does it not TTL properly?

Thanks, mate. I`m glad you`re up `n` about (if only slowly)Cracking shot Paulie, love it.
