X-Pro2’s are way over priced and have been for a while.

I’m guessing the biggest drop will come when an X-Pro4 is released if it has a tilt screen rather than the screen the X-Pro3 has.

I think £600 is okay for a used X-Pro 2, it's the x-Pro 3 at like £1400 used that is overpriced.

Horses for courses I guess.

For technology of that age I’d probably go with the X-T2 and pocket the difference.

Speaking of the X-H1. I got a chance to hold one yesterday in LCE, they have a used one with a grip for £700....had it not had a grip for less I may have been tempted. Anyway, great feel in the hand, really nice. Larger than even the A73 i think. Certainly didn't feel like I needed the grip at all.

You can have mine for less than that , they are more than comfortable without the grip but if you’re using something like the 50-140 they do balance better with the grip. For general use or when out in the evenings I’ll use mine without and just throw the spare batteries in my pocket.

My Fuji Set up I am keeping to my 23/35/56. I "may" add a 16mm...but honestly I seldom want anything else, especially longer so the grip is no need.

I will get a X-H1 though to add to my collection of the 1st generations of the X-Series, but I want a X-Pro 2 first.

Lots of X-Pro 3 on LCE now, 3 added in the last few days. Far too expensive though.

1229 on e-infin for the xpro 3. I think they used to have the xpro2 for 600-700 but don't seem to have it listed anymore.

In it simplest form the X-Ex range has a digital/electronic viewfinder (EVF) only, while the XProx range have optical (OVF) as well as EVF.
There are also small differences especially with the dials and controls.
 
X-Pro range also has weather sealing and dual card slots.
 
The most self-conscious I've ever felt with a camera! I went up and down the aisle a few times, tweaking the settings, and half-expected a tap on the shoulder :) It was for a 52 theme (Motion) in 2018 and I used another shot for that so I've only recently processed this one. Fuji X-T2 with Samyang 8mm fisheye.

You should definitely get that uploaded on some stock image sites, people would buy and use that image.
 
I want to know how he got that without the trolley rattle and shake and got everything sharp of the trolley itself....must be one strong clamp?
 
My mate who has been looking after Susie decided to bring her back home as she has been missing me to hell, my neighbour has said he will take her out for walks with his dog till I'm back up and running again. Great to have My Girl back home, X-S10 + XF35mm f1,4.

I noticed a worthwhile improvement over the X-T3. It's also a camera that feels so good in the hand, i've walked for hours holding it with a 16-55 attached and just a wrist strap.

Raymond, Your first impressions are correct, I have been out with my X-H1 and 55-200, holding it by the handgrip on the camera body for a couple of hours at a time and had no problems with pains in my hand or wrist. The reason that most secondhand X-H1's come with the grip is that the majority were sold as a kit which included a grip and two extra batteries.

Andybod, I agree with you about the comfort without the grip and carrying a couple of spare batteries. As my heaviest lens is the 16-55 f2.8, I only use the grip when taking portraits or a number of images in a vertical orientation.

I find the 24Mp sensor gives enough definition for my needs and the X-H1 so comfortable to use that when I saw that the X-H2 versions had features which I don't really need and a fully articulated LCD screen, I bought an additional secondhand X-H1 so that if one of them failed I had a second one to fall back on.

I might just get the X-H1 in my local LCE then for £700, more for the extra batteries than the grip. And at a pinch I can use it as a backup system for weddings!

And get the X-Pro 2 later on.

Maybe it was the IBIS, maybe it was the handling but overall I was always far more impressed with the X-H1 results. X-T3 was just ok imo, nothing special, nothing bad. I think it's easy to get hung up on the new processor hype, I did for ages, in reality often the differences are minimal in real world usage.

At £700 i'd push them to include a couple of batteries for the grip or look for one without grip, I used to remove the grip quite often unless I wanted to use "boost" mode with a 50-140.

My local LCE (which I can get to today) has one for £700 with grip and extra batteries.

Bath LCE has one without the grip for £550. Basically I am looking at it being that the grip is worth £100?

If it were me I'd get the one with the grip, even if you don't use it all the time it's worth having. I keep one on one of my X-T2s with the 50-140 I think the grip helps balance the lens.

There's a lot of used grips out there that you could add later, unless using a big lens like the 50-140 I wouldn't bother.
 
I wouldn't thought of getting the grip honestly, I don't shoot big lenses, I don't have big lenses. But they won't break up the kit and sell the camera separately. That actual one I looked at over the weekend is in very good condition, no scratches on the screens and looks very clean.

Thank you, I don't know if the rusty ol' trolley might be offputting but they do have shiny new ones now :)
