The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I have the

10-24
18-55
55-200

It depends on how long you want to go at the long end. Another consideration is weather sealing. None of those zooms are weather-sealed although tbf I've taken mine out in all weathers and not had any problems. Since your XT-30 isn't weather-sealed I guess it's not really something you're going to be worried about.

An alternative I have for light weight are my 3 f2 primes
Samyang 12mm
Fuji 23mm
Fuji 50mm

Those three weigh next to nothing and take up very little space in a bag

Since the summer I've been using the 16-80 and 70-300 as a two lens travel system and have been really happy with the output from both. I've various primes if I think I really want the best output possible, but for 90% of my use (with the exception of when I bring the x100f - that's just a fun thing to use!), these two lenses are really performing well for me.
I would second this. I have a couple of primes but the 2 main lenses I use are the 16-80 and 70-300 for ease and versatility. My reason for these too was with travel in mind (hopefully it will be holidaying abroad again soon to visiting family). I'm happy with the IQ of both of these for my needs.

Does anyone use the K&F Circular polariser? I have the Kase filter set, but as my lens is only 72mm, I have to use step up rings so a little cumbersome, and can't stay on the camera.
I was originally just looking at the one screw on polariser, but as a perfect consumer, I see there is other magnetic ones that come with ND1000 as well....
I have changed my mind now to the Urth (was Gobe) brand. Does or has anyone used this and recommend?

I have a bunch of gobe/urth filters, and highly recommend them. 10 stops and cpl (y)

Yesterday marked 10 years of the X-Pro1. Who is still shooting with one? I use one alongside my X-T3 and love it!

Here are a couple of recent blogs where I have used this camera exclusively:

I still have one of the 6 I had back a few years ago. I never got rid of it because it's so tatty (and the 23mm lens) that I didn't think anyone would bother. I never use it but every now and again I flash it up and give the internal battery a boots.......... just in case. ;)

My son has my old X-T1 and still loves it. Shoots to JPG mostly. He & his partner have just had a baby so I can see it getting a lot of use in the coming months...

I’m still shooting/using a X-Pro1 and X-E1 as my main X cameras - simply love & adore the files from the sensor..!

I see Fuji have announced that the "5th generation" of X-Trans is coming in May; with the "X-Summit" even expected to see the launch of the X-H2; quite looking forward to seeing what comes of that!

It sounds like it could be very promising. Often thought of moving my T3 on for the T4, but at this stage, it seems like it's worth waiting. Especially as both T3 and 4 use the same sensor.

Yeah I've been tempted to upgrade the XH1 to an XT4 but interested to see what the XH2 looks like; I do much prefer the larger size/grip of the XH series.

I went for a walk with the T3 & 100-400 today. Nothing special you may think, but I've had an infection in a varicose vein in my leg for over a week, and going out for a walk has not been at the top of my list, as it's been rather painful. So, it was good to get out for a short walk, no birds to see, but I did shoot a couple of the local resident "Fox Deterrent System" on a hen/duck farm...

These are lovely animals, often come over and say hello....

Took the photo of the castle (yes, I obviously have an addiction to taking photos of this), and then saw the other pic on the way back. Two different styles and still loving the feel and fun of using the XT3 after 3 years - still waiting for the photography block that I got a few times with my Canon...

Lovin` the pastel colours of the castle, Donna. Wonderful pic

Just love the castle image.

Ooh Yarmouth looks lovely, I'm going to be over there in February for a trade show so hopefully will get to see a little more of the IoW this time.
There are some lovely places to see and photograph. There have been some lovely sunrises and sunsets this last week plus the changeable weather can bring in massive rolling fog clouds on the west wight. Freshwater is always a favourite for the photographers looking over the bay. Give me a msg before you come over and I will give you some suggestions.

I live just over the water (I can see Cowes on my morning walk) and the sunsets and sunrises have been stunning the last week. Some thick fog as well as mists but when the sun has broken through Ive taken some nice pics.

So my shiny new (to me) 35 1,4 arrived today. But as my usual test subject (the cat) was asleep. I had to random test. So far it`s super sharp wide open, and although I haven`t had much time to fully test it today. I did try something ;)

H1 35mm (and a bunch of photoshop).
