The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I'm going to look at a Sigma 18-35 1.8 Art Canon Lens (yes this sounds familiar) to pair with my fringer ef-fx pro.

Anybody on here using this combo? I'm fairly put off by the size and weight but it seems the IQ and the fast 18-35 in one lens is very appealing.

Lens doesn’t have a great reputation for accurate AF, so might be fine in Single Shot but I wouldn’t expect great things from CAF

and just to show how well this little camera (the original X100) still stands up - limited by resolution

The image with the X100 and the second image with the GFX50S+GF45mm - both processed with DXO Deep Prime RAW Converter, and exported from Lightroom

You can see the dynamic range in that GFX shot... It produces such wonderful images. I may hire one for a weekend to do some shots locally.

We spent the day yesterday at a beautiful quiet beach at Ardtoe, Archaracle, West Coast of Scotland. The dogs came with us of course, our new pup was enjoying his first time at the beach.

Great capture, our puppy is in kennels at the moment as we are in Spain. I'll be collecting him on Thursday and beginning training on Sunday with 2 other friends and their cocker pups. Looking forward to it :)

I love driving through the Elan Valley...
It was my first visit, but I will definitely be back - in the sports car, or in the van with family and/or mountain bike!

Now that I do like, you've framed him well (I take it he is male ) not easy to capture an expression like that well done.

I used to work in Brick Lane, No 1 is a Data centre, on the corner of Wentworth St. That was over 20 years ago...

Thanks, George. it's all of those things and more. Tasty, appetising, and long gone. :D

Oh, forgot to say, it was taken with my X30 compact. Gets excellent photos for such a tiny sensor.

I've also still got an X30 (not X-T30) that I've recently brought out of retirement. As you say they can produce some really good images for such a tiny sensor. I had an X20 that I gave away but always thought that the X20 produced sharper images than the X30 although they are exactly the same lens & sensor. My shots of "The Old Signal Box" and "Passing The Time" that I posted recently were both shot using my X30.
