No shoes bless him :(

Thank you kindly Jak, appreciate your reply.

"How He Once Was"

Just a simple candid street style Fujigraph taken at London UK that kinda just fell into place. I noticed the elderly gentleman walking towards me and then noticed the younger guy a short distance behind him and thought the two kinda linked together. I've deliberately shot the younger guy slightly out of focus to try and create a kinda echo of the elderly gentleman's former self.

Love this, perfectly seen, and well achieved. The guy behind is a little out of focus depicting as a memory, but not too much that he can't be seen

Few more from the X-T30 and XF 16mm F2.8, definitely loving that lens. It's quite a difference to my second widest lens at 35 (50ish FFE) :D

Two very nice candid street style Fujigraphs Tom, with a good mono presentation, particularly liking #1 closely followed by #2.

Quite possibly. It would be good for somebody to come up with a FL that actually makes you think "That's a good idea" rather than just following what's already out there.

Are not the 33mm and 23mm lenses just rebranded Viltrox ???

I reckon so... although the Viltrox versions are very very good especially considering the price; I don't believe there's much better the Viltrox 23mm and the Fuji version and I "love" the Fuji lens

Such as? The problem with Fuji mount is that everying more "regular" is now covered

If they are the same as the Viltrox lenses then they are over priced, why would you opt for a Tokina version of same for £100 more??

So how about a "different" macro lens. The 80mm is great, but it's very expensive, the old 60mm was very good, and light, so a replacement for that?. A 300mm f2.8 or f4 maybe? Sigma's 150-600 for the X range would be good. In terms of primes, I agree that Fuji have covered the most popular lengths, but just offering a different aperture would do something, so maybe an f1.2 instead of f1.4 perhaps?

Unless you are on a tight budget, why would you not buy the identical Fuji lens? I have nothing but Fuji lenses, they are expensive but the quality is excellent, hence why I'd like to see "something different".

I 'want' a 16-35mm F2 (giving me 24-50mm FF equiv), I'd settle for a 16-23mm F1.8!!

Like many others in this thread, photography had taken a bit of a back seat for me this year. However last week I managed to get out one evening with a particular shot in mind - a local windmill silhouetted by the sunset. Unfortunately, I got the sun position totally wrong - I will need to go back in the winter, but I am still happy with the resulting image.

I have had a few comments that it is too dark/washed out, so may need to give it another tweak in Lightroom.

When I posted it in the CC section here it was also pointed out that my 55-200 may be "decentred", so at some point, I need to test that. Thinking about it, this is probably the first image I have shot using the lens where it has not just been one central subject, so would have not noticed the issue previously.

"It Made Explore" last Saturday and has received quite a few views & faves. :) :)

Just a simple architectural type Fujigraph taken at Kent UK of the "Old Signal Box" at the now disused Folkestone Harbour Stn. The signal box is now a cafeteria and the station has now been turned into a tourist attraction with weekly markets and other things held on the renovated platforms.

I'm going to look at a Canon (bear with me) 200mm f2.8 L II - which I'll attach to my T4 via the Fringer Pro - Has anybody on here tried this combo?

If it's fast enough, which for me doesn't need to be blazing internet fanboy speeds, then I'll get it as it's cheap enough for something Fujifilm doesn't offer yet.

I think Fuji actually do offer a 200mm prime don’t they ?

I like the silhouette style image, I would even try it as a black and white high key. And I like the composure too

Pretty sure George @G.K.Jnr. has one. Perhaps he’s able to say how he feels about it.

Yes I do indeed have the 200mm F2 Lens, all I can say really is it's optically "Excellent" at any aperture. Lightning fast AF on my X-H1, and yes it's a wee bit expensive and not the lightest of lenses around but you get what you pay for. I can honestly say I've never used a better lens at this FL from any manufacturer.

That's me using it in the video. I love it but that's not what I'm considering in this instance.

It's not strictly comparable, as I said before for various reasons including the big difference in weight and price. The former making one more useful than the other for documentary / event work (for example).

Great shot! How on earth do you capture a dragonfly in focus and still??
Lol trust me i chased it relentlessly on a small section of the canal along with a female eventually it settled on the side wall of the canal and I very carefully leaned over making sure i didn't fall into the canal as i don't have a good sense of balance at the best of time :fuji::LOL:

When I had the fringer pro I was very close to buying the Canon 200 2.8 L II, there was one on sale here at the time but we couldn't reach an agreement [high postage costs/insurance] and one on MPB for reasonable monies. I never did go through with it though, but the other lenses I tried on the fringer all worked perfectly, I reckon it'll work well - there's been a bunch of FW updates to the fringer adapters since I had one so should be even better now.

I have done a test and my 55-200 is definitely soft on the right-hand side. Has anybody had a lens serviced by Fuji UK?

I also found out something I did not know about my X-T2 - when using the self-timer, if you are in CL or CH drive mode it takes a burst of photos. If you want a single photo you need to be in S.

Ive used Fujifilm UK for 2 lens repair's one that fell to the floor on my XT1 and it sheared the lens mount off the lens and a similar thing happened with my 50-230mm when the tripod blew over.
Both were repaired and returned within the week my first lens being replaced as the carrier lost it.:(
My friend dropped his week old XH-1 and they repaired and returned it again within a week all free of charge.
i can't speak highly enough of there service:fuji:

Thanks. I may try and use their loan service to try out a 70-300 whilst it is gone...

I have still been getting out and using the lens though. I had a zoo trip last week and the penguins seemed to be the only animals braving the British summer weather:

I have got an annual pass, so will hopefully get to point my camera at some other animals in nicer weather.

Okay. So I've recently sold my 50-140mm which leaves me with my gripped X-T2 and 16-55mm and the X100F.

I'm now considering selling all but the X100 and buying the WCL / TCL as one to potentially cover all. Has anyone successfully or unsuccessfully done this? Thoughts?

I used them to get my hdmi port fixed and they "lost" my camera on a random shelf for a week but otherwise it went really well.
