Thanks so much, I was grinning from ear to ear when a) I found the bluebell woods and b) it was stunning conditions as it looked like it had just been raining too - no rain where I had come from which is just 1/2 hour away. Even the dog didn't want to leave - oh yeah that is normally the case as she is petrified of the car even after 11 years."Excellent" landscape style Fujigraph Donna, nothing more to be said.
A photo from last weeks Scottish NC500 motorcycle ride, 850 miles total........yours truly bottom left;

Really like that George ! Taken with a film sim or converted in post ?
Could somebody recommend a macro lens for my XT4?
If you don't mind a manual lens, look at the Laowa 65mm 2:1 macro.Could somebody recommend a macro lens for my XT4?
If its slower than the 50 f2 then its not by muchHaving got rid of the remainder of my Nikon kit courtesy of MPB I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a Viltrox 85mm f1.8. Seeing Donna's (@weebleswobble) recent postings I'm most envious of the extra reach over my XF50mm f2 prime and the nicer bokeh than I can get with the XF55-200mm.
But before I do...........a question.
I've been doing quite a lot of portraiture of late now that I've become a grandparent for the first time and while my granddaughter is not yet crawling and relatively static, that's not going to last long..........so.......how is the Viltrox at fast autofocus in comparison with the lenses I already have?
Thanks in advance for any feedback
I haven't had a native Fuji prime, so can't compare. My Viltrox is pretty damn good with autofocus, but for portraiture I would think a 50 would be much better, the amount of times I have to keep stepping back to try and fit items in the picture is often (and then my 23mm isn't on the camera as much)Having got rid of the remainder of my Nikon kit courtesy of MPB I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a Viltrox 85mm f1.8.
