Many thanks, I don't get enough chance to play with my lighting gear, and even less to take shots of my wife. Feedback much appreciated :)

Yessssss! Bloody love it. This is honestly great! Hope you had fun doing it :)

Thanks, mate :)
Yeah it did make me smile. I've a couple more ideas now, for this "comical" little series I think ;)

Great! I'm looking forward to see your ideas come to Fujition - see what I did there? Ok, I'm putting the keyboard down.....:D

Haha like it ;)
Watch this space (no pun intended) :)

I enjoy looking at the pics on this thread so much, that I thought I ought to contribute to it. So I went a bit mad and bought myself an X100v as a Christmas present.
I've never owned or used a Fuji before, so the steep learning curve starts when I open the box.

Nice one, Pete
They are all pretty great cameras. I found coming from Nikon, it was much easier than I thought it would be. No idea on the Canon front though, as they just didn`t feel right in my hands, so never used one.

Just a heads up for those liking my sci-fi pix .... I`ve added a new flickr account to put them all in (as my normal one is getting more random than random ;)), so will be dropping them from that one soon, and all new stuff will be on the link below.

Thanks Paul,
I currently use Sony full frame and have previously used Olympus and Nikon but I just fancied the V for something a bit more compact. I do like the 35mm focal length so that was a factor too.

You should be fine then. It`s not that steep a curve ;)

Nice one Pete, when I went from Fuji to Sony Full Frame the only Fuji camera I kept was the X100V. You will love it, it's a cracking camera that along with the owner puts out great images. Plus I am really glad I kept my one.

For me a bit meh on the subject matter (I've never seen any of the Star Wars films) I can really appreciate the time and effort that has gone into all of these shots - good luck with the new Flickr too sir (y)

Thanks, Alan

Not everyone can like SW (although I can`t imagine why ;)) But fortunately for me, and now not really being able to get out into London. I have something to shoot :)

Is the X100F worth the extra over the T ?

IMO Yes for the following:-

More MP
Joystick - this cannot be underestimated
Better Battery Life
Front Dial (which can be assigned to Exposure Compensation, and now +/-5EV in C mode
Faster Start-up Time (or coming out of sleep)

Its a much more complete camera
