My refurbished Fuji X100F arrived today in excellent condition as ever from Fuji. I have also ordered the Professional set of filters from Nisi. I have included a few pictures soyou get the idea of soze and fit. It took me by suprise how small the actual kit was it looks like something a borrower would use![]()

....Confused.....
If the polarizer is rectangular as well as the GND how can you use both? Surely the polarizer needs turned for best effect which then moves the level of the GND
I'm missing something...? Enlighten me please![]()
I`ve had another play around, and figured maybe the shy was a little too defined, so blurred that and the poppy edges ...

Had to go out on a work road trip this morning, thought I might get a chance to stop somewhere in't country on the way back and spend some time re-familiarising myself with the 'Way of the Fuji'. Alas, not a chance so here is something boring I snapped in the garden on the V instead...

Thanks Trevor, I know yours is still a new toy@bumper
Still early days but so far the T4 performance is terrific. Very Fuji.
Battery life, too early to say. I’ve used X-RAW STUDIO quite a bit, that takes a bit of power.
You know about the kit lens. Not had chance to challenge the IBIS.
In the past I’ve gone out with 2 X100. One fitted with WCL. Loved shooting that way. Not too heavy in the bag either.
Personally I’m happy to have an X100 and interchangeable cameras. Although I don’t go out with both.
I know I could easily live with just X100 if I had too.
I also have a full frame mirrorless system. I’ll make decision to keep either that or T4

My thinking is like yours. Should I run 2x x100v with converters (up to 100mm with jpeg zoom) or run an xt4 with an x100v+converters. If I had the xt4 I'd use the 16-80mm.
Sensors etc., are identical, both weather sealed, xt4 has ibis which is a a big pull if it helps not using a tripod every now and then. I wouldn't bother buying extra primes or zooms(famous last words) because I don't want to carry the kit.

Ol' Barrow by K G, on FlickrIn other news..... my Adobe Photographers thingy runs out on 15 July - it was a 1 year pre-paid card that I managed to get cheap on an Amazon deal - £69.99 which equates to only £5.83 per month.
I'm quite happy to keep using the Adobe products (yes, I know, I know), but with T-29 days to go I am struggling to find another deal. Best I can find is £119 on Amazon (£9.91 per month) or revert to the monthly subscription that costs £9.98.
Anyone seen any other deals?

We've got an A400 in tomorrow morning, hopefully I will get a chance to get some shots of that too. I've got a few more of the Osprey but not looked at them yet.1st and last shots are cracking images, Luminar 4 with sky replace would do a great job.

Have you got Luminar 4 ?
Love the wheelbarrow pic.

Great capture George! Love the sky as the background. 55-200 is so sharp when on target.I did a snap somethin' like this a time or two back but I was never really happy with it, so the last time I was in the Brighton area I gave it another go and this one certainly works for me a bit better.
Just a simple candid street style Fujigraph taken at Brighton Sussex UK of the ball entering the basket during a game of basketball on the seafront.

No I haven't. I could try something with ON1 if I get chance, but I'm not sure how successful it'd be masking around the vortices.Have you got Luminar 4 ?

Very nice Fujigraph, that works really well for me and especially liking the mono presentation.

Had to help out with some landscape gardening last few days, took the cam today as I thought there was some interesting plants and flowers. I can honestly say, I have never come across blue thistle before, apparently it's very common, I've only ever seen thistle with pink/red flower - love the shapes

I have mine running at £8 thirty something, and got that by hitting cancel on CC, then when filling out the reasons why leaving, went into virtual chat with someone, who brought it down to what i`m paying. I just explained nicely that it was expensive, and there were lots of options out there.

Ok so I've managed to get a fully boxed X100 WCL MKII in black for £129.99. Let me tell you all a little secret. Cash Converters (I know the name gives me shivers too) sometimes has some absolute gems in. That's where I've just bought this lens from. Sometimes they price items nicely and you find them mint. If you're ever not finding what you need then it's always worth a punt. It's also where I found my Canon Pro100S for £200 cheaper than others. It came unboxed but was mint and came with spare ink.
I now only need a cheap TCL in black either MKI or MKII. If any of you would like to make a quick buck then hit me up![]()
I'd just like to re-iterate what an sensational tip this is. I've just been on Cash Converters this morning and found a TCL MKI in black that is excellent condition and scratch free with a UV filter attached. £109.99. Purchased, so that's me got both converters.
I've also bought a Peak Design field pouch new but unused for £26 based on a recomendation here and a Peak Designs Lite strap to go with it from Ebay using code PANORAMA for 10% off from Camera Centre (link). £45 down to £41 and change.
Thanks to everyone for their assistance and recommendations!
With the peak design straps, do not thread the peak design camera anchor links directly through the eyelet on the camera body. Fujifilm cameras have small metal inserts in these , and they have sharp edges, and will chaff and cut through the anchor strap, leaving your camera to hit the deck. Use the split rings that come with the Fujifilm - now these will rattle on the camera body - causing much irritation (and potential scratches), so you can use the little Fujifilm pseudo leatherette protectors with the Peak Design Anchor, to create something that is safe and rattle free. It takes a bit of working out, it will take you and 30 mins to do one side, and then about 2 mins to do the other.

I have literally just ordered a Peak design cuff for my X-T3 so I really appreciate this post as I had no idea about this and would have just used the on camera eyelets.
Nice one...
Fontwell07 by Steve Jelly, on FlickrMartin, glad I've saved your camera!! You can see clearly on the first picture, the little metal insert in the eyelet, these don't appear to sit flush with both sides of the eyelet, and that seems to be what causes the issue.
nice shots Keith
