The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I would like to introduce you all to my daughters Twins who were born at 28 weeks in the early hours of this morning. I am so 100% over the moon, Leo and Sunny are doing well at the moment. I thought it would be great to share some great news.

@Fuji Dave

Congratulations Dave. Perhaps you need the X-T4 after all.

Thank you folks for the best wishes, no X-T4 as will want to spoil them both. First things first though, I will be trying to stop smoking again as took it back during lockdown up a while ago.

Get yourself a little pod vape system. Honestly, switching from smoking to vaping a few years back saved me I feel, my breathing was shot, and I was on inhalers - not a bother on my lungs since I kicked the smokes. If you can do it cold turkey, fair play, but I found having a vape even just here and there killed the nicotine craving. Vaping is also a lot easier give up than smoking once you get to that point.

Congratulations Grandad Dave, and best wishes for Leo and Sunny and your daughter and family. Lovely to see :)
Congratulations Dave - awesome..!

Best wishes;
Peter

Thanks folks.

@Cagey75 just put in my Tesco online shop, and managed to get one.

Congrats @Fuji Dave . Both my boys were early but not as early as your grandsons.

I`ve been looking at the Billingham Hadley Small bags, as a light option, for just the H1 and an attached lens, and a few odds n sods. As opposed to my backpack, which has a bunch of space when I want to venture out lightweight ish... Any thoughts, if anyone has/ had one.
pro`s and cons, as they aint cheap :eek:

I know it's a matter of taste, but personally I'd never use either of those brands. I think they're way over priced and I don't like the 80's school bag look about them. For a lot less money you can get some really nice messenger types from Think Tank, Lowe-pro etc

I got one and love it when I use it, the only let down is you have to buy the padded bit to put on the shoulder strap.

I've got one of the small Hadley bags (the one without a handle, just the strap). I can get an X-T2/3 with one lens one, plus another 1 or 2 lenses (depends on size) or a combination of lens & flash. Plus I get my 10" iPad in the back, and some stuff in the front pockets. It's very comfortable too.

I have the one with the shoulder pad. Love it, amazing quality. A huge positive is not having the noisy velcro when you need to be quite. I either put my XPro1 and XT3 with with lenses attached or one camera with 2 lenses and a flash. I also have the think tank which is well made but doesn't feel as special as the Billingham.

Yes it is expensive but it's a quality camera bag [emoji16]

Thanks chaps :thumbs: I appreciate the feedback (in both directions ;)) :)

Beautiful bags that look superb, provide excellent protection and best of all, are made by a British firm in Birmingham with the most amazing customer service. They are expensive, but you buy once.

My Hadley Pro has been to some ‘interesting‘ places during my military career, has taken everything in its stride and still looks amazing, which is more than can be said of me.
