The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Found a candle in the garden, hidden away and looking a little sad. So I cleaned it up and took a pic :)

Great picture. Poor little candle does look a bit forlorn, light still burning though. (y)

Thanks, Jason :)
Yeah, it did/ does look poorly. I put him back, so we`ll see what happens after a few days in the sunshine ;)

I did nothing else for a couple of weeks when I got mine. If you have the 35 f1.4, they make an excellent partnership.

I only have the 18-55mm lens.
At 55mm the macro capability is good, wind it back to 35mm and the macro is incredible.

Obviously nowhere near as good as a dedicated macro lens but for my needs and @ £30 it will do.

@Peter123 Here you go Peter, X-E3 works a treat. Just found everything, but not the little flash that came with it. Camera is in brand new condition too. PM me your address and I will post it on Monday.

Another lovely portrait, the quarantine doesn't seem to have affected her modelling skills. :)

Lightroom export settings, anyone shed any light on what I should be exporting at... every time I pop a photo up here via attachment or through Flickr, the resolution is crap!

I export for web use

Export to Hard Drive
JPEG Quality 100
sRGB
Resize Long Edge to 2000 pixels - don't enlarge!

Then I display from Flickr as Large - but often they do look better on Flickr than this forum!!

Thanks David, appreciate your share! I'll give it a try.... (y)

Very nice close up/still life Fujigraph, excellent colour and well controlled exposure.

George.

One for the "Abstract Challenge".
Just a simple Macro/Close Up type Fujigraph taken of part of three Paper Clips laying on a piece of cloth on my desk. Shot taken using just normal available room light.

X-H1, 55-200mm Lens, 1/180th @ F13, ISO-200, Raynox M250.

I had a bit of a play with my extension tubes and some off camera lighting (a couple of torches) today, quite pleased with this one (which is a focus stack in Affinity) ...

Thats beautiful. I love the little pink tips showing up as part of the detail.
Cracking shot!

I wasn't thrilled to see some dandelions popping up in a quiet corner of the garden, until I remembered what great subjects they are :)

“ Excellent” close up/macro style Fujigraph, well composed with some fine detail.

Cracking shot Jim, and beautifully done too.

Morning all!

My first entry for challenge week #6

"Water drop" - I did this the other week when the weather was really nice.
Outside with a bucket of water and a bouncy ball........ and about 300 shots to get something I was reasonably happy with.

Love it, and only 300 shots too..lol

Very nice Fujigraph, perfect timing and very nicely presented.
