In about 6 weeks May my FREE X camera give away is now in the middle of these . I have about six members in here with their names written down that I will pull out of a tin.

Funny thing too, when ever I have got a new lens or camera the weather changes and chucks it down but I can`t blame the weather for not going to town this time as it`s lovely and sunny here but a day in today.

Red Badge says it all, use to have it and really did like it and imo it`s a great little lens and not to heavy.

Didn't seem to test that well, I thought (Frost and Lenstip).

Had one on my first H1. Great combination. Just found I preferred primes.

I thought Lenstips rated the 16-55 as very favourable, their main criticism being the price.. The resolution looks exceptional.

16-55 looks great, only criticism I saw was no lens IS and size (well its a high quality fast zoom and not m43, so obviously ), solved by the XH1.

In addition to this, the 18-55 is often just as sharp, but its not constant 2.8, not WR and can't zoom to 16mm, you takes your choice and pays your money!!

In my mind if I was a zoom user then the 16-55 is a bargain as a refurb or used at a smidge over 500 quid.

I liked the 16-55, it's a very good lens all-round I just wouldn't say it blew me away by any means. I did wish it could focus a bit closer with better magnification like many equivalent lenses on other systems can [take the Olympus 12-40 for example, can do 1:3 mag and focus 10cm closer than the Fuji in a lens half the weight and size]
