The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Appreciate the replies regards the floral capture above -- Thank You! Fuji Does Colours

Out this afternoon with our border collie at our local golf course.
Just outta shot on the left I used a YN560 III, subtle diffused flash to gently add pop and fill-in.

All great shots Dave. I’ll take a look st the video once we get back to the room. Today was a total wash out for me, camera’s not even been out of the bag.

Thank you Rick, it chucked it down here so hard I caught a taxi to the gig, then another one back home. Got another gig tomorrow, but will take the X-T3 and Xpro2 with the 35mm and 50mm f2s.

The 16-80 lens arrived today, and I am so desperate for it to be ok, as I want to be able to travel with one smallish lens. I dashed on the way home from work for a quick sunset, so much more needs to be tested with it. So this is one from my first shots
X-T3 16-80@16mm with lee filter iso 160 f/16 .5sec
PS - I am so used to Canon lenses which has the manual focus option on the lens, I didn't know how to change this to manual to focus on the boat properly - doh! (have since looked how to)

They look good to me, but I don't think I'd have any need for that particular lens myself. They look pretty sharp to me, the second one in particular. :)

X-H1 + XF16mm f1.4 video today. Set it to Eterna for this video.

Just managed to view this, I think it is a good video, the Eterna simulation looks good, in particular in the setting it was filmed. What settings were you using for AF? You seem to have most things in focus, I assume this was on a tripod and you just panned a little with the tripod head?

I will be taking delivery of my gimbal on Saturday so am hoping to try some shots in the next week or so, well once I find a way of sneaking it in the house and convincing the missus I have had it years....

Normal AF-S and shot hand held.

The new X-Pro3 'Classic Neg' film simulation looks interesting....I wonder if it will eventually end up as a download firmware for the rest of the X bodies in time to come?

Must say the X-Pro series of cameras ALL look so dam good, stealthy rangefinders...!

Loving the shape/design/style and file output from the X-Pro1.

Though not a fan on the 'RF' style bodies ergonomically, I must admit I do like the look of the Xpro series. I had the pro1 for a while and just couldn't get on with it. I never would have bought one, I won it on @db247 's YT channel, and I was very grateful [wee plug for you there ;) ] - I loved the output from the camera, it certainly had a different feel than the XT1 I was also using at the time.

But I like a good grip, I prefer a centred evf also. I can see the attraction to the pro bodies for those who feel otherwise. I just can't get with this xpro3 shenanigans

Thanks very much George, looking forward to getting out with the whole nw Fuji set up more. Loving the size and feel of the x-t3. And reading all these messages I’m getting lens envy...

Great pics of your dog. Miss mine terribly (avatar). Had him as a 2 year old rescued dog from 2005 to 2019.

Calling all Viltrox 85mm lens owners....!!! Help needed please.

I recently did a firmware update to my Viltrox 85mm lens (v.1.03), then whenever I switch on either the XT2 or XP1 with the Viltrox lens fitted the screen intermittently flickers on and off......somethings not right?

I then downloaded the older firmware v.1.01 and still it flickers on and off, can't work it out....?

Any ideas or thoughts anyone...?

Cheers;
Peter

Thers a couple of mentions of this on Amazon reviews, but no solutions. Seems like it’s an issue though

Well that's not good! :/ Viltrox are usually pretty good when it comes to FW updates
