Doesn't seem as good as previous ones ?cash back deals are on at park cameras.
Great result [emoji1]Update on the XT1 peeling grip return.
Well got an update this morning and they initially said it was out of warranty, so a £140 bill. Called the support centre who apologised and said it was an admin error, flagged it as in warranty and cleared the fund request
So minor mistake aside looking good.

Yes but haven't the prices gone up this month?Just had a look and appears slightly better than last winters offers, for example 10-24mm was £80 last time, this year its £95.
When I had the Canon 70-200mm f4 IS L that weight never bothered me, just seen the Fuji 16-55mm f2.8 WR is lighter, so I am now stumped what to getAs I was going to get the 35mm f2. £145 cashback on the Fuji.
Dave, in Fuji terms its a weighty beast and won't balance well on your X-T20, but will be fine on your X-T2, its a great lens but perhaps not quite as sharp as you would expect, there is at least one forum member who prefers his 18-55 lens to the 16-55. It also has no IS, so with that extra weight you may be reaching for higher ISO's to keep the shutter speed up - but it is constant F2.8 and has WR which the 18-55 does not.
Made a mistake ooops, it is the 56mm f 1.2 XF only 405g
Just ignore the cashback deals, buy the lens that you want, if you get cashback that's a bonus!

Nothing to do with me, but there is one in the classifieds that looks a decent dealI can see that I am jumping, but like you said ignore the cashback deals and get the lens I want. So I am going to stick with my first choice, which is the 35mm f2 as it is the lens I really do want to add to my X-T2.
I had one of those. Also found I never used it. Sold it and haven't missed it.Even better just turned out all my lenses to put in a new bag I bought this morning and found I had a 35mm f1.4,

Nearly bought it myself this morning until I did a search and realized I hardly take anything at that focal length
Even better just turned out all my lenses to put in a new bag I bought this morning and found I had a 35mm f1.4,
Forgot all about it, no wonder I haven't got anything much at that specific distance, might give it a go tomorrow
For some reason the oblong hood from it was stuck on the 60mm, can't recall doing that either, shot to bits!!

I'm talking about the lens: not that orange bag of yours.
Argh. No!!One good thing, I won't ever misplace that bag, it really is rather bright https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lowepro-Nova-Sport-Shoulder-Camera/dp/B00F5JH6L2
Hey @tijuana taxi
You xxxxx!
Just because I looked at your amazon link my cookies have picked it up, and every website I visit has the orange monstrosity spread across the top of it.
I'll get you back.

What is? You or the bag?
The bag, definitely

A few taken today. Poor light but quite happy with them. been years since I picked up a camera so felt quite nervous lol. Waterfall was the first attempt at that kind of shot. All jpg straight out of the camera and no editing, apart from my daughter and I think a slight sharpen of the blue flower.

Matt

Tis true, but saying that.....
Blimey, just seen the 10-24mm is now a quid shy of 900, has got £95 cashback though.
One on Amazon for 759 which should also qualify for cashback as its from them direct, if you want one snap it up now for the bargain final price of 664 quid
Double check approved suppliers on cash back as Amazon don’t always qualify as they often supply non-UK lenses.
Bit lurid maybe? But as @Nod can tell you, that's kind of how it is!

Cheers! To make things worse, the shoreline looks as though it ought to be horizontal, but it's actually at an angle (or two!). I generally go for trying to get the most prominent things roughly upright, and leave the rest to fend for themselvesYup, that's how it is! And yes, the lamp posts are that squiffy as well, as are some of the buildings.
Lovely! Hope you feel better soon!
Lovely Fujigraph Sir, with good colour & a nice angle.
George.
