Perhaps you have a steady hand?Mmm, slightly concerned as I see no difference on a half-press etc.

Oh Hell. Pretty much decided I don't need an X-T2..then I saw a review of the 90mm F2....Hell..
Lonely Swan by Graham Norton, on FlickrJust a simple Macro/Close Up Fujoto of a Feather of some sort laying on the grass in my garden. Thought I'd think outside the box with this one and knock out a highish contrast mono version.
X-T2, 60mm F2.4 Lens, 1/500th @ F5.6, ISO-200, Handheld.

Slightly late to the party, but that's an amazing shot. Were you tracking the bird, or just timed your shot while in focus? Can't imagine the X-T1 coping with tracking...
That really is the most amazing & wonderful shot and I admire you skill very much. Stunning!Another misty morning river shot from me

So guys, you've tried pretty much everything out there - off on my first abroad holiday in well, forever with the family and am planning on taking this lot:
X-T20 (with little grip)
50mm f2
18-135mm
Samyang 12mm
Manay many SD cards, batteries and cleaning rags.
I'll always be sunny by the look of things.
So a good choice or would you personally take something else?
What like a little screw on one? Any suggestions, I'd really not thought of that as I have a million tripods and never use them, but yes I can see that.A pocket tripod - just in case.

Nice, I was just looking at that very thing on AmazonView attachment 110400
Think it's about £15 from amazon and Jessops sell them too. Took it to Paris with me and loved using it. Easily fits in a coat pocket or small bag.

A short conversation.. What is it? A Tripod... You don;t need another f*****g tripod, I'm going to start hanging those things from the ceiling....
Just ordered
lol, I tried blaming you guys, but its seems not... something about taking responsibility for my own actions....

I have one too, it's great, pretty sturdy for it's size. Not great for big lenses though, unless they have tripod collars

no i just used mine for the odd bit of wide stuff. nothing too big. was comfortable with a7rii and zeiss 16-35. so will certainly do the job with Johns x-t20 and samyang.
also works well with mobile phone holders.
and here with my old x-70

Tiny Irish garden snail by Enticing Imagery, on FlickrA few macro shots using cheap macro ext tubes and an old Helios 44-2 M42 lens on the XT-1. I still want a better macro set up, but I like this for more 'close up' scenes rather than insane macro. [edit - had to replace a couple that were taken with the Xpro1, only fair. Just a brain fart on my part]

That's a very nice Fujoto Sir, well composed, plenty of atmosphere, and really beautiful soft light & colours.
George.
That's a belter! Great stuff.

Lovely shot Graham! My impression that the weather has been rubbish in my absence is clearly not all that accurate![]()
Lovely and sunny here, but very breezy so tried the Raynox150 on the XC50-230mm + X-T20.
