Yes 100% from Amazon UK, I am sending it back today and sticking with my first copy....

other news... Fuji promotions have emailed saying that my cash back is on hold

"Please provide us with a copy of your delivery note."

What delivery note, Amazon UK never give me delivery notes for anything I buy from there? eh!
 
Not so good! What was missing?
Missing the stickers on the side of the box which my first lens had so I knew it had been opened, I checked the boxes and you could tell they had also had been opened/worn.
The lens hood filter cap was also missing.
If it wasn't for the fact Fuji won't accept the order date for their double cash back I would have demanded a replacement but no big loss... happy with a refund and still got my first copy.
What attached me to Amazon UK was the price... £1319 for 50-140mm + 1.4x TC :D
 
Visited Salford Quays (again) with @mickledore @Andrew Moore and @Mossy . Very short blue hour, more like, blue 5 mins, but the Light Waves 2016 festival was on, with some illuminated installations

Nice snap's. What lensse's did you use.
Will you lens focus fast enough for me to take a snap of my grandkids chasing a puppie on the carpet? What depth of field can you set on it? Wots its legacy.

Fuji are well aware of that, had the same issue on the last cashback promotion. They were happy with the copy that showed a delivery date, think mine was a screen print of where it said handed to resident

I wonder how they will process my cash back claim for Digital Depot as I only have a invoice off them too! :(

Can't find the original question amongst all the carp on here, but you can get a delivery note from Amazon. You have to go into your account settings and somewhere under your orders there is a delivery note for you to download and print. Had to do it myself last time I applied for cashback. If in doubt start a live chat with Amazon and they will tell you how to find it.

They probably won't

They probably will, always been helpful when you ring with these minor cashback claim problems. Last time they waited whilst I sent the documents, checked them and then validated it there and then.

Don't worry, sometimes takes a while to send the money, they have twenty eight days to cough up and not uncommon to be paid at the end of that period

I've never known anyone ask for a delivery note when claiming cashback, odd :confused:
 
I will give Digital Depot a call today, but surely Fuji can't ask for delivery notes if you bought it in store? :D lol

No just a receipt will be fine for a shop bought item
John Lewis online is similar although they send a delivery note, but no date of purchase or price. As mickledore stated above about Amazon, you can find somewhere on the website to download acceptable documentation.

Listen to those who have claimed it, not others who are just speculating on a possible outcome

Actually this is really valid, by doing this, often other Fuji shooters have come out the woodwork and met up, its only ever to gauge initial interest, and if there is interest a thread is opened in the Meeting Place sub-forum. That way we get a group together with several Fuji shooters, so we can shoot and talk technical :) This technique has been used for a long time in this forum.

Its really no different to someone saying I have xxx lens that I'm thinking of selling, and some else saying I'm interested, a separate For Sale or Wanted thread is then created.

Are you the same person? I don't care what the point of it is, it's off topic and boring, use pm or relevant threads. All I see mike or whatever his name is do is moan and harp on about his photo walks. And then comes here to sneer and moan and have a pop at others for being off topic. His last few posts have been little digs at others for no reason. He's now actually moaning about completely on topic stuff.

:ty:Thanks for the lovely comment (and no I'm not the same person :)), I'm going to take a break from this thread for a while, and I'll take my 20+ years of digital imaging experience and 4+ years of shooting Fuji X cameras with me, I wish you all a great Christmas, and maybe I'll come back in the new year :exit:
 
Not sure either way why people come on to moan unless it's about their products.
Regardless of who you are or what you do some stuff is helpful some stuff isn't. Some photos are plain useless some are amazing.
I find the ignore button helps for those you don't want to read. But i always wonder why people think they own a thread or a forum. Don't get me wrong someone actually does but because you've been here a day a week a year a split second longer that has no relevance. What I want is peace on earth this year....

I've been annoyed with this thread as much as the rest hell some of you down damn right p*** me off. And that's not because you are knobs or anything we just don't always get on or if you've or I have had a bad day it makes stuff worse.
What u have tried to do is bring back on topic and add some photos or ask a question.

Dunno to be honest, every year I consider just packing it in, I even considered if the 1 doesn't go today I may shift the 2, but my wife will no doubt bring me back (as she does every year the poor sod)
 
There's a lot of aggression on here at the moment. I don't see the need, not every post has to be on topic or directly helpful - it's a thread where Fuji lovers have a chat and a laugh. Would be terribly boring if every post was dedicated to discussing the camera itself.
