The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

The X-T2 has left the building! Now awaiting delivery of another X-T1 and a 10-24, and I still have beer money left over. The T1 really is excellent value right now!

It'll be interesting to see your 10-24 images - I have one on my XPro1 as a dedicated 'landscape' camera and the results are lovely. But I'm just a happy snapper - your recent images seem much more professional. I keep my XT1 for use with the 18-55 & 55-200 - the XT1 has been a bit overshadowed by the XT2 lately but it's still a very capable camera.
Cheers

Hopefully you'll be equally delighted with the 10-24mm. I know I am and doubt I'll be buying another lens any time soon.

I'm expecting good things!

The new T1 is here, Graphite Silver looks awesome in the flesh!

My 14mm has been near permanently attached since I got it, once the 10-24 arrives i think I may as well sell the rest of my lenses!

Early morning is best. A still day if you can fix things. And don't get talking to Nikonites!

Oh dear you've heard about me then ?
I still have a foot in Nikonites camp and the other in Fooj camp !

That being the case am I ok to talk to myself while I'm there ? :nikon: but :fuji:more ATM :runaway:

As long as you mutter quietly like the rest of us.

Yes but beware of the men in white coats.

I'm hoping my men in white coats are going to be driving me there :runaway::runaway::runaway:B4 they :lock: Me up again (y)
As it got fairly easy access as I'm disabled ?

Depends what you call disabled.
Not sure you'd get one of those 4 wheeled go kart type things to it. Ground is a bit uneven but as long as you can walk/hobble/crawl you won't have a problem.
Car park is uneven and full of holes full of water. Just a typical off road location. Not rough, but far from smooth.

Cheers for the info looks like hobble/crawl will be order of the day then.
I really appreciate the info :)
Thank you.

Lovely crisp image as always George, you do very well with that lens [emoji106]

Went back to the Oxford Canal again last night. Not such a clear sky this time, but even colder! Still had a good time though :) Still with the 18-55 kit.

I'm noticing greater mismatch between the in camera histogram and the resulting RAWs doing these long exposures. Generally the RAW isn't nearly as underexposed as I expect it to be. Anyone got any thoughts on that?

Nice image, David. I was pretty sure I'd read a blog post recently on the topic of raw vs jpeg histograms (not a topic of huge interest as I mostly shoot film). It was this:

Hope that's of interest...

As someone who is thinking about an XT2 can I ask those of you that have bought one then sold it why?

Architecture stuff seems to be my thing...

For me the T2 is a medium size leap over the T1, but I miss my T1 as I used to throw it around and generally abuse it, and I can't bring myself to do this to a camera worth this much.

Get a 2nd hand X-T1 for abusing! :D :P

Love the graphite but couldn't bring myself to pay the extra wedge for the paint job.
How much over the black are they now? I got a deal on mine so 'only' paid £70 more, worth every penny ;) :p

The X-T2's are flying off the shelves in the classifieds [emoji51][emoji38][emoji38]
