I will warn you, landscapes can be quite frustrating as you have no control over the light or weather. That being said they're also very rewarding (or would be if I could do it wellThat's been done to death though, and I'm restricted by not driving. But alas I really just did lose my mojo for photos. I'm not hugely into landscapes but I'm going to give it a go.
Done the Crooked Spire, but walking round Chesterfield with a big DSLR I stuck out like a sore thumb and felt like a right muppet, although I think a lot of that's in my head and down to my self consciousness. I've been wanting to get out and take pics of the old courthouse since getting the XT1, but weather's been crap. You live in a interesting city some lovely old building to take images of. The church in mono on a dull day be good

Well if you got a decent camera and sold that Nikon rubbish you'd be fine. Lol, yeah it's like the really really good wildlife pics you see, they can be months getting them. If I've not taken a shot in 5 mins I get fed upI have a couple of books by Peter Watson, besides each picture are details of the equipment used, etc and one very poignant line - Waiting for the light - ranges from immediate through several hours to days/weeks!!!

Not until I lose my self consciousness. Not happened in 39 years but I'm still hopingWell if you got a decent camera and sold that Nikon rubbish you'd be fine. My compact system x-t2 is tiny.
Watford doesn't.All cities/towns have interesting things, you just need to find them!!!
Amazing, all three. Was the colour(No.3) a long exposure? When I say long I mean a few seconds.A couple more from Monday

Nope, that's why I'm bugging out next week.
Do you use a shutter release for that? Thanks, 14 seconds
Do you use a shutter release for that?
Makes me wish I lived near and interesting City. Can't have everything I guess as I do live in the Peak District, but it would be nice![]()
As above, you can use the timer if you like, or you can get a shutter release. I prefer a shutter release but I haven't bought one for the Fooj yet. I'm thinking about getting a gorillapod for it too for hols, but not sure if the one for CSC would take the weight of the XT1 with 18-135mm, I need to investigate.Do you use a shutter release for that?

Supply and demandFuji must be busy as seen that xt1 and xt2 are short all over
Xt1 were easy to get get before. Fuji use to be good at supply. Since xt2 come out think that took there time to make those rather than xt1?
I'm sure they'll have reduced the manufacture of XT1's knowing that they were making a new model. With new models they never make enough to make the demand higher.Xt1 were easy to get get before.
