OK guys. Thanks for the interest. @Mr Perceptive and I hang around a bit together and we have been talking about these so I think it's only right to let him have first refusal. He may have one of his own by now. He's probably in work so I'll just give him time to get off site and catch upon things. Then I'll get back to you. The bracket is still in it's box, it's that new!
It's a KC Pug he has a little more about than any other Pug we have ever met but it means he doesn't weeze as much but he does still sore just not that loud compared to some.

XT-1 cat test by Enticing Imagery, on FlickrHe's tiny! Looks like a pampered pooch!Ah cool. We got a Puggle (pug/beagle) instead of a pug because of the wheezing etc. Ours is more beagle but I've seen some that look similar to yours. He's a little cracker

You spoil that cat. I can tell from here.
We've had cats all our married life so I know what a spoiled cat looks like!'I' don't, the women of the house do though. We have 2 of the buggers
Ah its here, camera looks pretty good with the battery grip, think the 18-55 will go, have no doubt its a good lens (based on reputation) but I can't abide not having an aperture ring, you would think I'm a 60 year old former film shooter saying things like that!
Maybe I've got the wrong end of the stick Chris, but the 18-55mm lens does have an aperture ring.
George.
XT-1 has arrived, YAY!
Just ran about the house shooting a few Jpegs so far, need to adapt to these settings, but figuring it out. I can already see it's very decent in the mid to high ISO range. Emily shot at 1600, Scout [kitty] at 3200. very little done just passed through Lightroom a little crop on each and slight adjustment, as I heard bad things about how LR handles FX files. Jpegs not a problem at least, will shoot some RAW later.

Nice L bracket.Great to see people getting new arrivals today
Great to see people getting new arrivals today, I'm not even slightly jealous.
Now can anyone spot what's wrong with this picture?

Yes. that's right my screen protector hasn't arrived yet!
Nice L bracket.
By the looks of that shot Colin, neither has the camera.
George.
I'm just the opposite. Two brackets but only one camera!Indeed it is, amazing how long postage takes from Southsea though. I've got an almost matching one sitting here as well for an X-T1 that I no longer have.
Two women or two pugs?'I' don't, the women of the house do though. We have 2 of the buggers
Two women or two pugs?
I've got two dogs, three cats, two children and a wife! Guess which ones the hardest
It's arrived. 10-24 ordered. WoOt !!
Hi there, I'm a street photographer who dabbles in landscapes too. Very new to this forum (this is my first post).
Wow that's sharp!!
Nice one George.
(May have to sell the D750 after Xmas)![]()
Thats a belter George, didn't think the 55-200 was capable of that sharpness!
Here's the 2nd of my latest Autumn shots. The tree is one in my front garden and I haven't a clue just what it is, but it sure do make a mess this time of year.

Lovely. That's certainly making me re-evaluate if I really need my 50-140, considering how rarely I use that focal length range. Here's the 2nd of my latest Autumn shots. The tree is one in my front garden and I haven't a clue just what it is, but it sure do make a mess this time of year.

That's really nice, especially considering the aperture used.Purchased the Helios 44mm for Ebay along with the adapter for the XT1. I've not much experience shooting on manual focus and of course the XT1 is new to me too but I quite fancied the challenge. Had a quick play this morning whilst out dog walking, it appears to my unprofessional eye a good copy and a bargain for £22.
What do others think?
This is straight out of camera, not the greatest subject but i think it demonstrates the efficiency of the lens. Shot at F2
