The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I was trying to track squirrels today and a lot of them didn't come out in focus. However this was down to three things 1. bad light, 2. the 50-230 not being the quickest to focus. 3. The pillock behind the camera. Managed to get this one though.View attachment 76422

Did someone run over a squirrel up a tree? That's one unlucky squirrel if so!

These are wonderful, far better than my attempts!!! Such a good looking camera. I know it shouldn't matter, but it does :D
Thanks. Lol, yeah it does ;)

On the subject of 35s... I spent a couple of weeks in Japan with the f2 after about a year using the f1.4. While the f2 is a really good lens (and the WR is obviously really good if you need it), the f1.4 has an extra magic somehow.

Sorry in interrupt before it gets to gorilla glue but I thought I'd upload a couple of pics!!

BTW I did take the Raynox-250 and extension tubes along to take a few butterfly shots and frankly they sucked.. The auto tubes were better but I was left with nothing I was even close to harpy with - all binned. One thing it seems is better on SLR, but thats more due to native lenses.

All taken on the 90mm

You think a camera is sexy????
You must have lead a sheltered life.
True. After all, I never knew what a Dutch Rudder was until today. We never had rudders in Wigan. Or Dutchmen.

Wigan Pier exists and at one time it was a major tourist attraction. No longer.
What is a Wigan Donk?
Do you know what a Wigan Kebab is?

Cheers, appreciated.

Yip, this silver colour is very sexy, love it personally. Lovely product photography!
Thanks. Quite happy with the results considering I only have one flash with soft box and a reflector.

going to join the club soon just brought a grip for the XT-1
Will be having a look in the classifieds when I'm got access ...

Meat Pies on a stick, and Meat Pies have holes in the top so Wiganer's can pick 4 up at once!!

Never forget my first time working in Bolton, went to Greenhalgh's for my lunch and asked for Cheese and Onion Barm (its a muffin were I come from) , thinking I would get a grated cheese with onion. Get back to the office and It was a barm with a Cheese and Onion Pie in it dirty Ba$****s!!

Gorgeous, but the gf670 is still the one for me! I've a ga645 and the lens on it is fantastic - the larger neg on a 670 would be something else with slide film!
Never even knew they made a FG670 etc.......can you pick these up still I wonder? Fixed lens ?

I like the Fuji GSW690 beast.

Any of you use the Meike grip for the XT-1? Just pondering on it, I've never been a big fan of grips but since the battery life is poor ...

Out for a walk today with our collie dog in/around the magnificent area of Glen Lyon, Scotland. Truly beautiful mild/sunny weather today for this time of year, we brought a flask of tea/sandwiches with us and soaked up the gorgeous surroundings..........later we spotted a huge mature stag not far from us, but it didn't hang around long as it was scared off by a passing vehicle.

For $79 I think I'll be able to live without it. That looks like a fee to Adobe rather than a Fuji thing.
Is this the new Adobe business model?
