And reportedly nowhere near as good!!!The DF is just a rich man's XT-1![]()
Sounds just like minnt. .....DF is for those wanting old tech and to pretend like they have a cool fooj
Do you know, I'd been thinking thatNow David is no longer a D750 owner this thread should soon take over that one Stir Stir![]()
just make sure you get the X-T2!
Yeah, he's not a bad tog I guessPersonally I think David will make some cracking landscapes if you gave him and old box and some Lego![]()
Why break the habit of a lifetime? You guys are so cruel to Minnt ,think we should wait for the photos, then slag him off lol
There's a guy selling two T1s in the classifieds. I know him slightly and they should be well looked after.Nope, maybe next year some time. The XT-1 is sufficient for my needs atm, want to get a couple of lenses too

D800E sold, will be signing to team fuji shortly. Just browsing local classifieds, there's a few there, no nice packages though.
£30 isn't enough of a saving for me to consider grey. The grey price of the 23/2 WR is starting to come down - One Stop Digital are listing it for £389.99 now, £30 cheaper than the UK price. I'm really quite tempted, but I know if I wait a few months it will probably drop further and used prices will come down to £300 odd.

Makes no sense to buy used for more money than newHow do you guys rate the 27mm 2.8? I was eyeing the 35mm f2, but the 27mm is also tempting, and there's a used one in a local cam shop here for €300 [£270 or thereabouts]
Actually looking on Amazon UK it can be got new for lessBut, I could have the used one this week. Hmmm, also the 35 F2 is only £299 on amazon, maybe i should go for that. Only a silver available atm, looks like the black is expected back in this week.

I only just checked amazon after posting tbh. I thought it was about 400 new. Now that I've looked I fancy the 35 f2 more.
The 27/2.8 is incredibly versatile and great for people shots with a normal field of view. It's tiny as well. But, the 35/2 is quieter and faster, with speedier AF.
I kinda want bothbut I would need a zoom also, looking at the 55-200. Can't have it all at once, so I have to choose between the shorties. I think i'd be happy with either one really, 35 might be better for portraiture?

@Nuzik - lovely shots (and dog!). I have the same chair, similarly taken-over but by a pair of cats.
Some more from my Japanese stuff. All XT1 with LR's Classic Chrome profile. First 2 are the 35/f2 and the third is the 10-24 around 16mm

Yep. It's one of the introductory guides from Julieann Kost. Knew I recognised itI'm not aware of it, but it wouldn't surprise me - it's fairly iconic. It's absolutely stunning in the flesh - my picture doesn't really do it justice.
