Well my X-T1 doesn't have one either, went years ago I think. I think the same is true of every camera with a PC connection cover! Does anybody actually use a PC cord these days?

On another matter, anyone know of any stock of XT2s? I have a lovely 0% offer on my credit card ending this month, would like to get the XT2 onto it if possible, doesn't look like Wex are going to be getting more any time soon (which is where mine is currently on back order)
 
Wilkinson Cameras in Southport did have spares. Ring them and if they still have I'll go and get it for you. Camera Solutions in Chester are reputed to have one spare.

I use my Canon flash guns off camera with Yongnuo triggers. Manual only but that suits me.

It appears that premium resellers got half their initial order, so two scenarios:-

Seller A orders 200 cameras for which they have 150 pre-orders, they get delivered 100, so 50 people are still waiting

Seller B orders 50 cameras but only has 15 pre-orders, he gets delivered 25 so had 10 left

I went today to my local store LCE , and I had a try with new XT2.

Compared it with the XT10 and it is such a huge difference! Specially in quality,

In regards to XT1 vs XT2 , the viewfinder I didnt noticed the difference to be honest, maybe i need to try with the vertical grip.

They made me a proposal that I dont know If I can refuse. Trade my Nikon D3300 plus 100 pounds exchange and get the xt2 with the 35mm f2... humm I might just do that.

If you do it in shooting mode it takes you to the format menu, where you choose which card to format. At least, it does on both my Pro2 and T2.

Anyone shoot the XF27mm f2.8 lens..? I've one arriving tomorrow. I think the focal length and size is pretty cool.

Anyone else want to share their XF27mm experience's and images...?

Not on mine it doesn't. Hold the trash button down for three seconds and hit the menu button takes me straight to the normal menu page. How do you get it to go straight to format?

Hold the trash button and while it is still held press the rear command dial

I'm assuming you must have a bunch of lenses too for that sort of trade? If not, it doesn't make any sense at all :D

My wife does, and gets brilliant results! She shoots everything at f/2.8 as well :D
 
AH AH. Yes it does. I was pressing the Menu button. Sorry, my fault for misunderstanding you.
Now when I use the command dial it does go to Format. Result!

Something I found out by accident...if you hold Menu for 5 seconds it locks the settings so that they can't accidentally be changed.

Me thinks he means he gets the extra hundred quid that Fuji's offering on trade-ins. Still has to pay the difference on top of that allowance.

Just made a call to where I bought mine.They have one with an 18-55 kit lens. If your interested I'll give you their number.

I must be reading that wrong, so you are getting it for 100 quid plus a camera that sells for under £300?

Sorry that doesn't seem right, if is I will buy a D3300 and get down there tomorrow

I think he means he gets the extra £100 trade in offer from Fuji on top of the trade in price for the 3300 and he then has to pay the difference

I meant the a7ii.

The Fuji is very impressive for a apsc. I don't really see any advantage of the ff a7ii. When the the noise starts kicking in its much more pleasing than the A7ii. To my eyes after iso 6400 the fuji is ahead in noise control.

My XT1 is going off to WEX tommorrow as a trade in for an XT2. Only problem is I will be without a camera until the next batch come in and if I'm included in the next batch. They don't seem to know when they are going to be coming in either so could be a bit of a wait.
 
Hey guys, a bit of OCF advice please.

I'm selling my Nikon kit and I've recently bought an XT-1. I believe I need to switch my current Yongnuo kit for the Canon versions ?

All I really need is a trigger and two speedlights.

So, YN560IV x 2 + YN560TX ?

Probably been asked before so I apologise in advance.

Im not sure what you're asking but yongnuo works fine with Fuji. I recently switched from niKon and they work fine. No need to get canon fit.

I currently have Yongnuo flashes for my D750's which I'm led to believe won't work with the Fuji.

I therefore need to replace them with the Canon equivalent or similar yes ?

Good luck I will just have to look at everyone else's photos although I will still have my X70.
