SOOC ?
SOOC ?
Herpes ?Mine's on a courier van![]()
Nope, a little adjustment in LR5.SOOC ?
Herpes ?
I rang Jessops this morning, I was told they have some coming in tomorrow and as I pre-ordered beginning of August I should be one of the first to get it, so I'm calling tomorrow to see if this is the case. Going by my recent experience of Jessops I don't have a high level of expectation though.
I had a call from my dealer to say it's been dispatched to him today for next day delivery. As soon as the courier arrives with it tomorrow he'll let me know.Mines at my local dealer, but can't get to it until Friday AM.....
That's strange! I've not ordered from them, but I was talking to a staff member yesterday and he told me that their distribution centre was taking delivery today.Worryingly Jessops just advised they currently don't have a date for it coming into stock
I was 200+ on WEX's waiting list but received an 'in stock' notification @ 08:47 this morning and a dispatch notification @ 13:23.
Very excited! My first Fuji.
I tried ringing their customer service number, it rang for 10 minutes and no one answered. I got the info by ringing the store. Only reason I went with Jessops was to take advantage of the £100 trade in allowance, they gave me £49 for an old beat up Canon EOS M, Wex offered me £23.I phoned but couldn't get through. I did order early too.
I went with the interests free credit option, got approved and the finance company said they would forward the approval to Jessops. I don't recall receiving an order number from Jessops so am now worrying there has been a balls up somewhere along the line.
LOLSo.. I called to cancel mine and ended up paying for it.... XT2 and Powergrip coming tomorrow!!!
I'm obviously way down the list as I've heard nothing.
Alan, make a trip to Chester, Camera Solutions (I believe) have a few unallocated X-T2's - mention David (who pre-ordered one), and I'll get some brownie points!!!

Lol. Is this replacing you xpro 2?So.. I called to cancel mine and ended up paying for it.... XT2 and Powergrip coming tomorrow!!!
My X-Pro2 might be up for grabs when and if the T2 turns up. Don't know if there would be much interest in it?Lol. Is this replacing you xpro 2?
Seriously ? Considering you can buy a refurb XP2 £1068 you'd be dropping £300 !!!!My X-Pro2 might be up for grabs when and if the T2 turns up. Don't know if there would be much interest in it?
Yes, I'm concerned it might not get the use it deserves after the T2 lands. But on the other hand I might just keep it for primes and mf lenses.Seriously ? Considering you can buy a refurb XP2 £1068 you'd be dropping £300 !!!!
I ordered mine from Park. I'm hoping for a call/email tomorrow... (please!!)All quiet from Park Cameras as well. I really want the silence to be broken...
Lol. Is this replacing you xpro 2?
No. I don't knowDoes anyone know if it's possible to set the spot metering to meter off the active focus point as opposed to the centre of the frame?

Yes, I'm sure there is a setting for that, but I don't have the camera or manual to hand just now.Does anyone know if it's possible to set the spot metering to meter off the active focus point as opposed to the centre of the frame?
I thought we'd answered this last week but apparently we didn't - 85mm square filters- do they vigentte on 10-24 or not?
Alan, the theory is yes, but the practise may be different especially with stacking filters. I have a Hitech 85mm holder with grads, but no 10-24. @mickledore has a 10-24 and I'm sure we could test in the next couple of weeks, or alternatively if you have a 10-24, I would be happy to meet so you can try, geographically we are not too far apart.
I was just thinking that myself. Always happy for a meet.....and that pint you owe me.Alan, the theory is yes, but the practise may be different especially with stacking filters. I'm a few hours ahead of you so mines due at 9am UK time!Well I'm surprised I've not seen something on YouTube posted today for the XT2, it must be postie time somewhere
I bet you're all package stalking!
I m sure fuji sorted this issue with one of their s firmware updates, just turn your metering to spot meter and your focusing to single point focus. Your camera should now meter off the active focus pointDoes anyone know if it's possible to set the spot metering to meter off the active focus point as opposed to the centre of the frame?
